Helping you feel great, inside and out

1

Well that’s January done and dusted, so I hope you have had a great start to the year.

Last weekend saw our Beauty Weekend event, which was a huge success and saw the launch of lots of brand new products as well as some new beauty brands making their QVC debut. For me beauty and health are one and the same. A glowing complexion, healthy hair and nails as well as fuelling your body correctly should all be part of our beauty regime.

Following on from my last blog and continuing our feeling of wellbeing, it’s definitely worth looking in to the supplements, if you haven’t done so already, particularly if you are over 50 or feel that you are lacking in a certain area or have specific needs.

When it comes to supplements, it truly is a minefield and the highstreet is jam-packed full of cleverly marketed brands, and it’s difficult to know what’s good and what works.

So, that’s where QVC comes in, as we have done all the work for you and have a range of tried-and-tested supplements that can offer great value with excellent quality.

I was lucky enough to have a 1-to-1 personal seminar with Dr. Max from Prime Fifty at the start of the year. It was so valuable to begin to understand all the research that has been conducted, especially in the over 50s demographic, and realise why if we are not taking a supplement, particularly once we reach this age, we are seriously missing a trick.

One area that intrigued me was muscle density. I had heard a lot about how bone density deteriorates with age but had know idea of the muscle shrinkage that also occurs, but the good news is that it is never to late in life to add a supplement to your diet.

Have a look at the Prime Fifty range online and in particular a delicious tasting strawberry drink supplement designed to help to maintain muscle in the over 50s.

QVC also have lots of beauty-based supplements. Imedeen is one of QVC’s longest serving ranges with supplements dedicated to skin, hair and nails. Philip Kingsley also have some excellent products to help maintain hair, as does the Viviscal brand who also have a range created for targeting men’s hair health.

Beauty Weekend saw the launch of a brand new supplements company. She Protein. She, which is a range designed for women by women, is all about enhancing protein levels. Whether you are a gym bunny or a yummy Mummy, keeping those protein levels up is of the utmost importance and the She brand consists of workout shakes in three delicious flavours: strawberry, vanilla and chocolate, all designed to do just that.

However if it’s an instant complete lifestyle overhaul you are wanting then look no further than the package offered by Chris James. The Ultimate 12 Day Programme is a holistic programme design to supplement both the body and the mind.

Chris James is a yoga teacher and a guru of both health and well-being and his 12 day programme could be everything you need to kickstart a healthier lifestyle.

While you are checking out all our supplements online don’t overlook the Fountain range. Fountain have produced a range of liquids that you can add to your favourite drinks, juices and smoothies or even just add to drinking water.

Enjoy and cheers!
