Gosh, just looking out the living room window. It’s 3pm and I can barely see the the bottom of the driveway! (Trust me, it’s not that long! The driveway that is!)
So gloomy and foggy. Having just had a touch of winter sunshine, I have absolutely no cause to complain, but I just can’t wait for March!
Possibly as it’s not my absolute favourite month of the year – as I love the summer – and with the build up to Christmas etc etc, but there is something very optimistic, I think, about the month of March.
- Spring is in the air
- The daffs put in an appearance
- The clocks ‘spring’ forward
- There’s just a general feeling of blowing away the cobwebs, as it were!
I love pretty pieces of jewellery to mark the change of seasons, like this gorgeous daffodil charm from Clogau. I love the subtle mix of metals to show off the flower’s corona (thank you Google!). It’s a wonderful gift too, especially if your friend or family member has a charm bracelet.
This year Easter is in April, and that’s another time I love – not just because of all that chocolate – but Easter Monday is always a day where the whole (and now extended) family get together! Always good fun (especially when Danny dons the bunny ears and does a Secret Easter Bunny egg distribution!).
But I digress, January isn’t even finished yet and I’m nearly at the May bank Holiday!

Well I’m off to visit my lovely niece Louise and the kids now.
Have included a couple of wee pics that were taken over the Christmas period. Sophie is just adorable and, like I said, little Josh looks just good enough to eat!
Here’s the evidence!
Take care you lovely lot!
