I’m still washing the mud out!

The team

Well, the ‘Tough Mudder’ event was, well… tough and muddy! However all fifteen of us completed the course and apart from a lot of scratches, cuts and bruises there were no major injuries.

We raised over £1500 for the Royal British Legion ‘Poppy Appeal’ and all arrived home knackered! The biggest collective challenge was the “Ice Enema” which nobody wanted to do again (pictured below)!

Electric shocks

Ice cold water

But for me personally, the biggest challenge came when my squeaky knees started to ache at about seven miles making the last five miles a bit sore! Still, I thought you might like to see some snaps of the team in action.

Happy and not even finished!

By the way I’m planning to enter another (Spartan race) in September – I must have got a bang on the head somewhere along the line!

Well done! It looks hideous but you must have felt so elated once you got through it.
You seem to have caught the bug but I can’t for the life of me see why!

    Hi Jo
I must admit, the same question has been going through my head!
I may be going through a midlife crisis!!
