As you've probably seen on the news we've had the biggest snowfall in nearly 20 years down here in London. What an amazing experience it's been – I've never seen anything like it!
The whole of the city seemed to grind to a halt; no buses, no trains, no way of getting out on the road in the car and even most flights cancelled. There was the most incredible sense of calm everywhere you went, and the whole world looked like a beautiful cake that had been perfectly iced!
The highlight of my day was a trip to Hampstead Heath where someone very kindly lent me their sledge so I could race down the hill at breakneck speed! It felt like every child was off school and had headed there too. There were crowds of people out having fun – sledging, building snowmen and having snowball fights.
Keep warm and I'll see you all soon!
Lots of love,
