I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s Ronni Nicole TSV

41

Model wearing the Ronni Nicole TSV dress I'm really looking forward to the TSV launch this Thursday midnight into Friday as it's my favourite QVC fashion brand Ronni Nicole. I love the styles and the cuts of this range and some of the prints are simply beautiful, like the 2 maxi dresses I wear that so many of you comment on!

Then there is the 'O so slim' hidden liner, which just helps to smooth out any lumps and bumps, giving extra confidence – what a clever idea!

I have at least 10 'Ronni' dresses and will probably be adding to them this visit, maybe with the TSV. My main difficulty will be choosing a colour, although I am leaning towards the black. It isn't a printed design but it's simply plain and knee length with a colourful beaded yoke. It's perfect for the summer but also for later in the year with opaque tights or even leggings.

You may already have seen one or two of my colleagues wearing it, but I'm going to be a good girl and wait until midnight Thursday – hope to see you there…

Love Julia x

How long is the dress on you Julia? I am about your height but I like to keep my knees covered up as they aren’t as pretty as yours.

i love ronni nicole dresses and already have 15. i’ve been eagerly waiting for the TSV and can’t wait to see the new items shown, but couldn’t believe the price increases on web had all gone up between £5 and £10.The quality of this range is fantastic, the best on QVC but i don’t think i’ll be able to buy as many as i’d like with the increased prices. But please keep the styles coming as i feel beautiful in them all.

    Hi
I’m interested to know why the dresses have gone up in price so much too? Particularly the lovely black and red one that I bought for £30 in March it’s now listed as £43 but still on introductory price. How can that be?

    Hi Julia
The webite ordering stikes again, I’m afraid and I’m sooo angry, must be the Roberts in me!
I ordered the Ronni Nicole dress with belt 147 791 it was in my shopping cart, I entered my card details, followed by the promotional code, the code was accepted, I then clicked to carry on to checkout and the page went blank!!!
I did notice that when it went to the promotional code page the secure site (https:) sign was no longer in the address bar and the little padlock had also disappeared, if that is any help to anybody.
Phoned customer service straight away, to be told it had sold out in the seconds between my clicking the checkout button to QVC answering the phone. I was offered a waitlist order but have declined this option and will not be placing anymore orders until QVC get the online ordering system sorted out.
I can’t tell you how disappointed I am at missing out, but feel that something needs to be done, otherwise you are going to get alot of uphappy customers and that will be a real shame!
Has the webste problems started since you went over to ITV’s the Zone, in making more people aware of the QVC shopping channel and it just cannot cope??
On a good note, you did make the right choice wearing the black TSV, very slimming indeed and really suited you.
    love
    a very sad Annette x

hi julia, been watching all ronni nicole shows today – ordering in advance to make sure i got the items i wanted.my love of this range started when i saw you on a kipling show and you mentioned your dress was from this range. i haven’t stopped buying since then!i must have the same taste as you as every dress i bought before the shows you said you had bought too.probably not hard as i think we both have most of the range! They match my HUGE collection of kipling bags and i feel fantastic and secure when spinning around at my weekly salsa night with no fears of expossing myself!keep the range coming(more frequently!)and carry on wearing them on air to tempt me to buy more.x

    Hi Julia
I loved the Ronni Nicole TSV and have ordered 2 colours. I really wished there had been more black as i would have ordered that however i went for the red and the teal. The red one you wore on the midnight launch was what sold that to me. The Pilates and Diet Chef are really doing the trick! I too have since noticed a difference with me joining the gym that i am now in the realms of a size 12 and not the 14 i once was. All good progress towards the wedding which is now officially less than a year away. Keep up the good work your end as i intend to do the same.
    Kind Regards Gemma
PS think i found a Grecian Wedding dress too!

Julia, just posting on the offchance that you can help. I have a problem buying clothes to fit; I’m a petite size 4 – 6 and have to shop online quite a lot to be able to get my size. I do like many of the fashions on QVC, however, like to Tiana B dresses and the Ronni Nicole dresses. Do you think QVC would possibly consider stocking a range for smaller ladies like myself? I know by posting on shoppingtelly.com that there are others in the same boat. Maybe you could have a word with the buyers? Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks. Louise.

Hi Julia, I ordered 2 of the Ronnie Nicole TSV dresses.Took your advice and ordered size 10 instead of 12 as like you I am between a 10&12 and very much like you in shape. I do hope they fit me as I seldom wear dresses but thought this one would suit me and it will be just the right length too.You looked really nice in the dress I thought the red one suited you best. Hi Annette
I am so disappointed for you and I will certainly investigate as to why this is happening – REALLY frustrating!! I don’t think it has anything to do with going onto ITV’s The Zone, but then what do I know about computers!?!?!? I will find out what is going on for you and the many others who the system has let down!
The black was my favourite option in the TSV, but I must say I do prefer the prints and the slightly lower necklines personally.

    Hi Julia.
Tea perty was FAB, we had a great afternoon. The sun actually popped out for a couple of hours, so we managed to sit in the garden. Was so nice, as my little water feature arrived from QVC the day before. Was just lovely.
They do feed me sometimes, but as Im not working just now, I like to spoil them from time to time. They are all busy working mums, and its nice to take the pressure off for a wee while.
The cake was just delicious, a big hit. Was quite easy to make too, which is always a good thing. I made the flapjacks too (thanks Steve) and one of the girls claimed what was left for her little boy, who apparently ADORES flapjacks, and is having a “PICKY” episode right now!!!! Boys eh!???!!!!
I must try the veggie option moussaka, as one of my friends is vegetarian and I usually end up making her something else.
The chocolate mousse went down a wee treat, and they all went home like stuffed little piggies!!!
Everyone was giving you a hard time in this blog Julia, hardly your fault. I have to say, I had problems too, but I always think, that if I miss out when something sells out, it wasnt meant to be mine in the first place, and something else will come along thats probably better.
I ordered a Ronni Nicole maxi dress, it has lots of reds and pinks and oranges, cant wait for it to arrive. I plan to wear it with my little gold Ipanemas, think it will look fantastic.
    Take care Julia
    Lots of love

    Hi Jen
It was a quick change to get into the red one after the black one sold out in the first hour!!! Hope you will be happy with the size – I think you will as the size 12 was just a little generous on me and I am quite full on the bust. In most of the other styles I still ordered the size 12 though, I think it was the neckline on the TSV that made the difference.

    Hi Una
Sounds like you had a great time – shame you don’t live a bit nearer I could pop round for tea too LOL!!!! I haven’t done the flapjacks yet – had an early start today as I had to do some radio interviews on behalf of QVC. If the weather changes tomorrow I will give them a go!
Thanks for being protective of me Una – I don’t think the ladies were necessarily picking on me it’s just unfortunate that things go wrong sometimes and leave people feeling disappointed and let down.
I LOVE the dress you ordered – I nearly went for it myself, but as I have 2 maxi dresses in that style but a different print I decided to limit myself to the 4 I already ordered.
Moderation in all things as they say ……… well done for giving the rest of the flapjacks away to a good home – what happened to the remainder of the cake I wonder???? LOL

    Hi Julia
I sincerely hope that you don’t think that I was getting at you personally, I just thought that if I listed the events as they happened online, then maybe it might go someway to helping in fixing the problem. Especially, the fact that the secure website (https:) and the padlock disappeared on the promotional code page, that is probably why the page went blank when you clicked the return to checkout button, rather than returning to the secure checkout page… if you see what I mean??
I think things sold out quickly because items were in people’s baskets online, because later on I checked again and the dress I had missed out on was in stock, so I promptly phoned customer service to place my order.
I don’t know whether it is a Gemini thing, but I’m one of those ditherers when I go shopping and very often do the ‘shall I, shan’t I’ buy something only to get home without and then wish I had… it was the first time in ages that I had ordered something straight away without dithering and maybe that’s where my disappointment came from.
I apologise for putting my disappointment on your shoulders, but honestly thought that it may help to have an insight into what was happening with the online ordering!
    Sorry!

You are more than welcome to pop in for tea, anytime you are passing!! Hahahaha, what leftover cake???!!!!! You were so right, it was VERY moreish!
I think you will love the flapjacks, they were really moist, I hate when they are like eating cardboard. Or is that just me not making them properly!!!? LOL
I know the ladies were a bit disappointed, but I get quite irate about these things. You do your job wonderfully, and you have no control over IT or pricing etc. I just know that you take it all very seriously, and hate to let people down.
4 dresses? Now Miss Roberts, thats just greedy!! I dont blame you though, they look amazing.
Mine arrived this morning. amazing delivery time AGAIN. I just ADORE it. We wont be going abroad this year, but I dont care, I will be wearing it in the garden anyway, cos I want to, and I love it!!!!!! As I thought, it is perfect with my little gold shoes. have QVC ever sold Ipanemas? They are Fab.

Don’t apologise it is important that I know when things aren’t going smoothly then I can try and find out why! I’m just really pleased you got your dress in the end – you were obviously meant to have it. As I am writing this I am wearing one of my new dresses – the orangey/ purpley/ pinky paisley one. We went out for an Indian meal and it was the perfect dress!
Did you try your blue nails with the basecoat yet?

    Hi Julia
The new dress sounds lovely and very apt for your indian meal out…. you’re so lucky to be able to wear that style.
I am looking forward to the dress arriving, it was the one with the black t-shirt type top with the ‘V’ back and gathered paisley skirt with a wide belt. Reminded me very much of the 1950’s style dresses!
I did try one of the maxi dresses a few weeks ago and reading the reviews ordered the size 10, which fit lovely under the bust, but I’m afraid I was at the back of the queue when everything was given out and the actual bust area was too big for me and kept gaping, so I had to return it.
I have just got out of the bath, having been stuck in there, literally for nearly an hour, because the most humungous spider went running across the floor and they are my biggest nightmare, so I spent the time looking over the edge of the bath to see where he was before jumping out!
I am just about to try the blue nails with the basecoat, but will use it on my toes, so that at least if it does stain I can put a darker colour on until it goes. Will let you know the outcome…

If you are still losing weight it might be better to hang on to the size 10 – I thought it was a generous fit and the size 10 TSV was the right size on me but the others are a size 12 cos they are a different cut.

    Hi Julia
Glad to hear my spider escapade gave you the giggles… it wouldn’t have been so bad, but I’d already been in the bath a good half hour as it was!
I tried the OPI nail lacquer again with the base coat and it still stained, so I went on their website and asked the question and they replied saying: Due to the colour pigments in this shade it does seem harder to remove than the other OPI Nail lacquers. Use OPI’s Expert Touch Polish Remover, lightly buff nails and before applying ‘Catch Me in Your Net’ apply OPI’s Ridge filler, allowing longer to dry.
Saw your new dress, it looked stunning on you, like I said previously that style really does suit you.
My dress arrived yesterday and it is gorgeous, worth 5*+, but unfortunately, I will have to return it. I thought that having a gathered waist and the description saying 29″ relaxed on the size 10, there would be plenty of give in it. The skirt is pleated rather than gathered around the waist and because the material isn’t stretchy like the top half, it has very little give, maybe an inch?. I got it as far as over my head and shoulders, but it would not go any further over my bust and I didn’t want to force it for fear of breaking the stitches around the waist and then not being able to get it off again! Maybe need to go up a size with this one!
I did have this vision however, of me standing there and Chris trying to pull it off me…. like skinning a sausage LOL!!!

What a shame the Ronni Nicole dress didn’t fit. Although the sizing is consistent the cut can play a part in whether a style ‘fits’ or not, which is why I mentioned the TSV dress was more generous than some. Visual image of you struggling to get the dress off …………… giggling again!
