D-day is almost here – the 18th July!! And no, it's not just because it's Beauty Day, which of course is in itself fantastic, but it is indeed my official return to the wonderful world of QVC!!! And what a day to return!!
Things are sooo much better now (by things I mean my shoulder). Isn't it amazing how much we take everything for granted when the body is functioning properly? Simple things like washing your hair, getting dressed, filling a kettle and even opening my own front door! All of which require two arms normally.
Well it is now with unadulterated exquisite joy that I now perform these seemingly otherwise menial tasks. Probably my most liberating experience lately has been getting behind the wheel of my car and going for a drive. Residents of the London borough of Hillingdon can sleep easily in their beds at night safe in the knowledge that it has not been deemed necessary by the DVLA for me to re-take my driving test!!
On a slightly more serious note though, I really want to thank all of you so much for all your concern and best wishes. Your kindness was never for one instant taken for granted. It is incredible what a difference it can make on of those days when things can potentially get you down, to know that lovely viewers like yourselves, people that I've never even met before, are showing how much you care and how lovely you really are. Absolutely fantastic!
Anyway Beauty Day is our date then and I look forward being back on your screens at 11am for some Bare Escentuals. Excuse me, but could I have arranged this any better or what? (sorry for those of you who don't know, I am the biggest Bare Escentuals fan ever). Well I'm off to wash my hair again, so I'd better dash.
I know, I know, now I'm just showing off!!
Lots of love,
