Well, that's Christmas over and done with – I can't believe all the build up to the big day, then it all goes by in a flash! I hope you all had a wonderful time and got to do what you wanted, whether it was eating, drinking, spending time with friends and family or just having some quiet 'me' time.
My Christmas was fabulous – I took my niece Jasmine and sister Ellie to Lapland. I'll be posting up some photos soon, so do keep an eye out for them in the new year. Over Christmas itself I stayed with the extended family in the West Country with lots of wine, food, fun and lovely wintery fresh air walks.
After all that rich repast, it's nice to have something a bit more healthy and light to eat, and Today's Special Value is just perfect for that. The EasiYo system is the simplest and quickest way to make tasty yoghurt, and if you've been wondering whether to try it out, then now's the ideal time!
I love my EasiYo maker and yoghurt is a great way to get those important proteins and calcium into your diet. I love the way the live cultures make me feel, and the best bit is that it tastes so great too!
I'm really excited about this TSV; it's brilliant if you already have the yoghurt maker as it's made up entirely of yoghurt sachets. Each one makes up to a litre of yoghurt, so there'll be plenty to go round. If you don't have a yoghurt maker then you can choose from a great selection on the website.
And I'm loving the new flavours they've brought together in the set – the Mango is delicious and is good enough to eat on its own as a deluxe dessert. I also made a mango and strawberry smoothie the other day by blending strawberries, the flesh of a mango, milk and the EasiYo mango yoghurt. It was totally scrummy and tasted almost like those mango lassis I enjoyed in India.
The other new flavour in the set is Apple and Blackberry. It's really fruity and creamy and I reckon it's going to be a perfect companion to my special Craig's apple crumble!
As you can see from the photo above, I couldn't wait to tuck in so I was eating it straight from the yoghurt make – naughty I know, but I couldn't resist!
I'd love to hear what you do with your EasiYo yoghurt and also let me know your favourite flavour. Mine are Greek, toffee and now the new mango too – sorry, I can't have just one!
See you soon,
