I had to write a Wii blog!

9

Wii console I've just been rehearsing a new TSV that we have on Monday night next week with Abby Surgeon, and I haven't had so much fun in ages! It's great news that we have one of the biggest names in gaming in the QVC stable and although I have had a wii go on them before, I hadn't realised how clever they were and how easy they are to use.

I also hadn't realised how the Wii Fit package was like having a yoga instructor give you a personal lesson. I'll be staying up late on Monday night to order both the TSV and the extra Fit package for the whole family's Christmas present… and I can't wait!

Be there at midnight 'cos I don't think it will last long!

    Simon – Get Stuffed
Simon, this is my recipe, I do it every Christmas.
Please note weights are approximate as I never weigh I just throw in – its that easy
    500grm of sausage meat.
a small tin of chestnut puree.
a tin of ready cooked chestnuts, or about a dozen fresh boiled, peeled and roughly chopped.
four slices of dry bread made into breadcrumbs.
Mix all ingredients together, I personally dont add salt and pepper but you can if you choose. Flour hands and roll into balls. As the sausagemeat releases fat I would cook in a seperate tin to the meat. This stuffing is nice hot but equally nice cold with cold meat.

    Hi Dorothy
What a shock it was for me too! My wii fit age is about 10 years older than my real age. It has prompted me to get back at it and try to get fit again…. and yes I’ll be getting mine in time for the big YO HO HO!!
    Still catching my breath!!

    Simon “get stuffed”
    Every year I make the same stuffing cos everyone loves my stuffing it consists of;
Freshly made breadcrumbs, mixed herbs, egg (helps bind the ingredients together ) chopped onions, mushrooms, bacon, sausage meat salt and pepper, mix together, then you can either place into a dish or make into balls and place foil over the top and put into the oven to cook, removing the foil about twenty minute before fully cooked to brown off and the outside goes crispy, it’s beautiful yum yum !!!

Simon – just a quick update to the recipe for Farmhouse Stuffing – i omitted the 2 ozs of fresh chopped parsley and of course black pepper to taste.
    Hope you enjoy the recipe
