Huntley Hiatus & Ultraglam Ultrasun

10

Hello and welcome back to your regular, weekly, #huntleyhumpday! A new edition every Wednesday, that’s if we can keep the gremlins at bay! Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond my control, some technical glitches took hold over the last couple of week which, we hope, have been fully rectified. Thanks for bearing with us!

So, what have I been up to for the two weeks we’ve been blogless? Coughing. Sneezing. Sniffing. Burning up in bed on that really hot, sunny weekend we had instead of getting out and enjoying it. Coughing some more. Pretty much that and eating plenty. Well, they do say to ‘feed a cold’… any excuse, eh?

The cats have been keeping me amused. I know I go on about them a lot but, seriously, my heart melts when I look at them. Here they are being cute enough to get away with damaging all my furniture with their claws, ha ha!

I was chatting with Julia Roberts today, also cat crazy and an animal lover, and she was telling me how their family used to keep goats when she was younger. I adore goats! I’ve been watching lots of videos of them online where they like to climb up high or sound almost like humans with their sweet, quirky voices.

I took myself, and possibly Julia, by surprise because as I spoke about my love for goats I started welling up! What am I like? But they’re just so sweet! I think, in a parallel universe I’m living on a little farm rescuing animals and growing my own vegetables. Those of you old enough to remember will know what I mean if I say ‘The Good Life’. A good old retro British sitcom which I might just have to revisit for nostalgia’s sake. Maybe a sprinkling of Fawlty Towers whilst I’m at it, too.

From British sitcoms to British weather… even on cloudy days we all ought to be slotting in an SPF to our beauty regimes. I’ve lost count of the number of beauty experts I’ve met who have said their number one tip for anti-ageing is sun protection.

Well we have got a fantastic Ultrasun kit for you coming up on the 3rd of May. One of the two options is Glamorous which features my favourite Ultrasun product, Glimmer. It’s all about helping you to get sun ready ahead of the brighter days, protecting you in the sun in glamorous style and then caring for your skin after sun exposure. It’ll be on offer with superb saving for 24 hours only so make sure you look out for it and get your order in.

Below is the Family option but tune in or visit the QVC website on Thursday to see the two options in full!

I’ll be here same time next week for your next instalment of Huntley Humpday! Have a great week.

Hi Catherine, I think along the lines of you. I have 3 cat’s, did have until I lost 2 of mine, only 3 weeks apart due to kidney failure, broke my heart. My gorgeous 3 are all black, one who is long haired and very fluffy and the other,2 which are short haired keep me so amused everyday, wouldn’t know what to do without them. I’ve always said, if I win the lottery I will have a massive farm to rescue animals that need rescuing and give them a nice safe friendly home. I to would grow my own vegtables and beautiful plants and flowers. I think you’re 2 cat’s are gorgeous and make me laugh, especially when they squeeze themself into that box they have, so funny. You’re a great presenter, don’t ever change.

hi , love your cats ,are they bengals? I have seven cats that I rescued and one of mine is a ex-breeding Bengal cat called tia. I just love all my cats, I would not be without them. I have been teaching them tricks, like high five ,saying hello and shaking paws when greeting people etc. I too love all animals and have had lots of pets over the years including a goat! I too am also a Capricorn.i think you are a wonderfull lady! xxx

Hi Catherine, what breed are your cats? Theyre gorgeous! I always adopt rescue cats from Cats Protection in Scotland – I just need to give these gorgeous cats a loving home. We have been blessed with 4 lovely kitties over the years. They are such fun and never a day goes by when Im telling my hubbie what theyve been up to. You are such a joy to watch on QVC. You are full of bubbles and always make me smile. Such a bonnie lass… just a lovely natured girl. Keep smiling and giggling xxx
