How’s 2016 so far?

6

Hello! So, here we are in February – hows your year so far?

Mine is good, it’s been very busy and loads going on! January is a month of family birthdays and I recently hosted my niece Jasmine’s 13th birthday so will put some pics up in my next blog.

For this one though I wanted to know how you were getting on with #QVCWellBeing

I must admit I have been very active this year and feeling good for it. I have been doing gymnastics with my trainer, you can see me hanging from the gymnastic rings in the photo, not quite as easy as it looks I promise you!

I have also been dancing quite a bit both with a dance company and a form or expressive dance called 5 rhythms, both are so much fun and a brilliant workout. Let’s just say I have to take a change of T-shirt with me!5Rhythms

I am also walking more where and when I can and I find my Fitbit really helpful with staying motivated that way. I had an issue with my Fitbit recently and customer services there are brilliant and so helpful, just thought that is worth a mention if you are considering buying one.Fitbit

The one thing I need to continue to work on is my food! As you know I have such a sweet tooth and this time of year I just seem to find myself tucking into puddings, cake and biscuits even more than usual – I tell myself it’s okay as I exercise but we all know that’s not really true! Any tips on curbing a sweet tooth – has anything worked for you?

Let me know how you are getting on, would love to hear from you.

Hugs,

Craig

Xx

    Hi Craig!

Wow looks like you’re doing really well!

I’ve gotta be honest, my NY resolutions have come to a bit of a standstill! Maybe I should treat myself to a Fitbit as that might encourage me to get back to it!

Look forward to your next blog!

All going very well here Craig – still very motivated by my Fitbit Like you I had to use their help desk and they were very good. I know I’m playing golf a bit better when I don’t take as many steps to get round lol
Not been quite as active as you but it’s amazing how such a small wristband can make you competitive!
Don’t have any tips re sweet tooth as mine is more “don’t buy crisps” scenario but I now start my day with a hot water with a slice of lemon which seems to set your mind for the day
Catch you on air soon x

Hiya Craig – Long time no speak! How are you?
I too have such a sweet tooth, & like you mention, i seem to get sweeter & sweeter in the winter!! Or should i say, the things that i consume get sweeter lol!
I’ve found Deliciously Ella channel on YouTube really helpful, she too has a sweet tooth & many of her recipes are so easy, but not only easy, like for example… (Almond & cacao energy bites is one of my faves) I’ve found the chocolatey recipes really hit the spot!
I feel like because there like plant-based,there better for me.
Looking forward to your next blog, takecare.

    Hi Ann!

Many thanks for your message. Great to hear the Fitbit is helping you to keep going. It is amazing how something on our wrist can just remind us of our goals no matter how big or small.

The hot water with lemon is lovely, I try and do that from time to time. Feels very cleansing.

Keep up the hard work :-). Take care and stay in touch.

Hi again Jeremy! Great to hear from you and thanks for your comment.

Tell me about it! I do think its harder in the winter! Definitely brings my sweet tooth out more!

I’ll definitely have to try out some of those recipes on that You Tube Channel! Sounds fab!

Hope you enjoy the next blog, it’ll be out soon!

Take care and stay in touch.
