It’s been another busy and fun filled week at QVC, both on and off air.
QVC for me, is perfect. I really, really dislike certain aspects of shopping – driving, parking, searching queuing! Dare I say, it can make me a little grumpy ;-). Shopping at QVC however is wonderfully easy, convenient and so varied… we sell everything from food to fashion, and from DIY to beauty and jewellery.
Speaking of shopping with QVC that reminds me, I have a real desire for some Gower Cottage brownies. I think it’s time to order a treat! Then they’ll be hidden safely away at home!
I had a fabulous 10th Anniversary show with Charlie and Will. We adore Charlie Bears at QVC and after all these years the bears are still very much loved and very much in demand! It was a really fun show and we did behave, as promised… most of the time!
Between shows I have been kept busy, I’ve cleared out some of my wardrobe and taken a number of items to my local charity shop. Including a suit I haven’t worn for over 10 years! It was in lovely condition and the charity shop seemed really pleased. I’m not one for hoarding but the occasional thing does slip through the net. On the subject of having ‘a lot’ – apparently I’m way below the number of shoes I should own. A friend of mine owns over 70 pairs! I have five pairs – with another six at work – how many pairs do you have?
I’m already looking forward to my next shows at the Q. We have two days of Winter Fashion ahead of us on Monday 3rd and Tuesday 4th October. I’m thrilled to be back on air this Monday with an hour of Lulu Guinness accessories at 8pm and then Logo by Lori Goldstein at 10pm.
I’m off for a few days now and am hoping to play a spot of tennis as well as venture out for some lovely walks with my Cairns. In the meantime – perhaps I should think about getting some more shoes?!
Take care and see you soon.
