Hope you’re all having a lovely summer! I know it’s back to school soon for many so, as ever, I’m hoping any sunshine and warm days can last as long as possible!
I think having things to look forward to so important. I realised this with the sad loss of a dear friend of mine’s father earlier this month. He had been such a joyously funny and supportive person. His wonderful and brave wife was telling me of her plans and what she was going to do going forward, and the importance of setting up things to look forward to. I agree. If you can lift your spirits, in whatever way works for you, life feels brighter…
Anyway, many things to look forward to as September begins today. Jewellery Month is obviously a highlight which starts with the grand opening on Saturday 3rd September at 1pm with Ali Keenan and Jill Franks.
Interesting I started my blog totally by chance, with the word ‘Hope’. Ali will be introducing you to the very special new pieces she has designed for the I Hope Collection in aid of Breast Cancer Care.
Such an amazing cause and one that has touched so many of us in different ways. If you want to know the inspiration behind her designs, take a look at her blog where she explains how the pieces came about.
I will be with you later on this Saturday 3rd September – 6pm Wearable Art by Bob Mackie, at 7pm getting practical in Practical Ideas with Shark and then finally at 9pm I’ll be with Julie from Peony flowers.
I do hope you can join me for all or some of it!
Wishing you may always have things to look forward to, and in any event, hope…
