I hope you all enjoyed the Butler and Wilson shows this week and managed to get hold of the stunning TSV necklace in your preferred colour choice. In the end I think my favourite was the silver – so sparkly!
It's amazing how Simon Wilson just keeps coming up with new ideas and new twists on some of the original pieces from the seventies. He's next with us for the Get Gorgeous weekend in mid May with a fab TSV bag – put it in your diary!
We've had some great shows together including in the early days of QVC, a show live from the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas. It was very amusing as most of us arrived very pale and acquired a bit of a tan as the week progressed. Simon arrived bronzed and got paler – turns out he'd been St. Tropezed (the fake tan not the upmarket resort in the south of France!).
The Bahamas, as you can imagine, was very warm; the Manor House in Hertfordshire, where this photo was taken, was not! It was December and there was no heating on … it was freezing cold. We did the show sat in front of an open fire and even with all the television lights on we had goosebumps and our teeth were chattering!
Fortunately you guys loved the jewellery so much that we finished 20 minutes early as everything had sold out, and a mad dash for the thermals ensued! Simon took the photo during the rehearsal and we were both suprised at the result – on the bottom of the pic he wrote 'Hollywood here I come. How amazing do you look… Lots of love, Simon xx'.
If I had been a Hollywood actress there is a role from my favourite film that I would have loved to play. Any ideas what it is?? Here's a clue, "Tomorrow is another day". Slight problem though, I would have had to change my name!!!
The dress was a vintage piece from his Fulham Road collection and fitted to perfection… I wish I'd bought it, it was beautiful.
Talking of lovely clothes, don't miss out on the Ronni Nicole 1st Anniversary shows on Wednesday – I'm doing the 5pm show, so hope to see you there.
