Toby’s ‘staycation’

8

Toby in the pool Hey everyone, thanks as always for your comments. It was fun to take a trip down my fashion memory lane (last blog) and I expect it awoke some colourful and hopefully not painful memories for some of you too.

We took a trip down to the Sussex coast the other day but decided that it was a little too hot for Toby so he stayed at home. As you can see from the pics, he decided that if he couldn’t go to the beach he would improvise in the garden and enjoy his “staycation”.

Not much to report from home – like the rest of the UK, I’m still waiting for summer; please tell me that that lovely spring wasn’t it!?!

Toby's 'staycation' For all those going on their hols in the next week or so, I hope you have a wonderful time. For those of you taking a leaf out of Toby’s book and staying at home, I’ll be presenting some great daytime shows this upcoming week, including a couple of Diamonique 17th Anniversary shows both at 1pm.

During Wednesday’s show, I hope to be joined by Silvia, a lovely presenter from QVC Italia. She emailed me and asked me what I would like her to bring to the show? I replied asking her to bring us a smile and some Italian sunshine!! Let’s see if she does.

Ciao!

Dale

Well, that’s got you off the hook nicely hasn’t it! Just bring on the heart-meltingly gorgeous Toby to diffuse the ‘Dale hasn’t blogged again for ages’ situation! What are you like!!!
I’m on a staycation myself this week which is just as well given all the teasing you’ve been up to again! There I was taking an hour’s reprieve from my Dale-iria state watching a Beauty show and who should pop on the beauty couch but yours truly!!!! Give us some prior notice if you’re thinking of doing that again will you. And then there was the end of the three hour Diamond event. You just couldn’t help yourself could you …..” S for Sexy”. S for Scallywag more like!!!! And to top it all, there’s photos of you all over my local rag mag with a lady called June who was invited to a diamond preview day at QVC Towers. Where was my invitation eh ???????
I’m very proud of myself though cos I managed to successfully bake a cake from Julia’s blog whilst you were on air yesterday. Did you get my text that my favourite character was Zippy? Now there’s a surprise I hear you cry!!!! xxx

Hi Marian – Yes I did see your text re: Zippy! It’s great when we get texts in response to a question like “what’s your favourite character” it seems to get everyone thinking. I am trying to blog at least once a week, but sometimes days off and lack of suitable subject matter, seem to get in the way. Please keep your comments coming Marian at al and I’ll keep blogging – even if it’s just more Toby pics – promise! Dale x

Hi Dale, love the pictures of Toby. How could you leave him behind? My dogs went everywhere with us but, unfortunately, one of my dogs passed away and my other one is 20 years young and blind and he only really feels at home literally being at home, familiar surroundings I suppose. I’m a big animal lover and I have two cats as well, one of which is about 21 years young. I also feed the foxes and the birds and once rescued a heron from my garden. Hope I’m not boring you but, like yourself, haven’t really much to report. I too hope the sun comes out sometime, anytime actually will do!! Hi Marian, I’ll be round for a slice of cake later xx It’s always nice to hear from you Dale and I always look forward to Ma’s reply; always guaranteed to give me a good laugh. xx

Hiya Gail, so you feed the fox do you! With what, ….grapes???…..Turkish Delight???…… chocolate covered strawberries???……. Oh heck, I can feel another ‘need to lie down’ coming on! I thought I might have tempted him with my cake but he didn’t bite – literally!
Sounds like you love your animals and wildlife as much as me sweetie. Daleo, ask The Q about organising an event for the Presenters Bloggers. I know they do one for the Facebookers and we’re much more fun, speaking of which ……. time for a rhyme!
    Maids Marian and Gail
    Had a thing about Dale
On his blog they vied for his attention
    Gail wanted his chipolata
    Not just for a starter
And Marian wanted ……. best not to mention!
Soz about turning your sausage into a chipolata Dale. No offence meant, I just couldn’t think of anything to rhyme with ‘sausage’.
    Lots of Love….. M xxxx

Ma, have you noticed that Dale and Gail has a certain ring to it, cute eh!!
Chipolata, sausage, I’m not fussy Ma, either will do. I do like a bit on the side though – I MEAN LIKE MUSTARD OR FRIED ONIONS MARION. What is she like?
Yes, I feed the Fox every night. He visits me every evening about Midnight and we meet under the glow of the Solar lights, our eyes meet and then I …………WAKE UP. Sorry, I mean I give him his dinner. I think it’s time for one of you lie-downs Ma. LOL XXX

Where’s our Hero? Looks like The Q have let him have ANOTHER holiday! No sign of Dale-icious on the show guide all week. What are we supposed to do while he’s off galavanting eh????? Message to The Q – I think me and Gail should be consulted about Daleo’s next contract.
