Try and figure out this piece of pop trivia…

Hi, hope you had a great bank holiday weekend…. they go so fast!

Alongside tennis, being by the sea and spending time with my family, another great passion of mine is music. My taste is wide and varied and over the years I've picked up some wonderful trivia with this being one of my favourites…
Which 1970's number one hit single didn't feature the song title anywhere in the lyrics? However, the song did feature (in the lyrics) the song title which replaced it at number one.

It you think you know the answer then leave it in the comment box below, and I'll reveal the correct answer next week.

Take care and have a good week.

Hi Charlie Love it when you’re presenting. More hours with Dawn please!!
I think the answer is Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody which was replaced by ABBA’s Mama Mia

Bohemian Rhapsody which includes Mama Mia in the lyric sounds good to me Charlie.

    Hi Charlie
    Another music mad fan here.
The answer is Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen (love Queen), which has the lyrics Mamma Mia in the song and Abba’s ‘Mamma Mia’ knocked Queen of their spot.

    Hello Charlie
Just had to tell you. We were in Weymouth yesterday for a day trip and went out to Portland Bill on the open top bus and got very excited when we saw the Lobster Pot you are always mentioning – we had the most delicious plaice and chips lunch. Thank you for the recommendation.
