A busy week this week, not just on air but behind the scenes too.
The Morning Show has felt really good, with great guests and products to share with you, and it's been fun having Simon back after his month away.
Also, I hope you'll agree that we're managing to put a bit of extra energy and movement into the show, just to wake us all up properly! It's fun having a fellow presenter to work with and our production teams are all into giving the show a slightly different look to the rest of the day.
The Morning Show competition
And the competition… wow! If you're reading this before Monday morning, make sure you enter as it's a £550 roll-over!!! The highest it's ever been. It means that if Debbie and Clare don't find a winner on Monday, next time I'm back on Tuesday 17th it'll be £600!!!!
Look out for our new mini-series, 'What's in my…'
Earlier this week I helped make a promotion you'll be seeing on your screens soon. It's for a mini-series taking place on 25th March called 'What's in my ….' I'm presenting 'What's in my wardrobe' (no cobwebs allowed!) and I'll be bringing you some of my favourites from our fashion department. We'll also be taking a look in Julia's bathroom, Anthony's bedroom and Craig's kitchen!
Silver Day excitement
QVC Towers was buzzing on Wednesday and Thursday when we had a big customer event to give some of you a sneaky peak preview of the stunning silver jewellery we have planned for Silver Day.
It was lovely to meet you all, and lots of people commented on how they like my longer length hair – thanks for that! If you catch Sunday's Silver Day extravaganza, I hope you find something made for you.
I've earmarked a pair of Epiphany platinum clad silver earrings (Sunday, 8pm with Daniel) for the kids to give me for Mother's Day. At £21 and available in 3 Easy Pay instalments, I reckon they can manage £7 each!
Meeting Mario de Luigi
Friday morning brought a treat for me – Friday 13th was certainly lucky! It was the first time I've met Mario de Luigi, one of our make-up artist guests. He'd sent some of the make-up for me to try out (his corrective lifting powder is amazing and I love the colours in his colour box in the Perfect Look Kit (they are sooo flattering.) But Mario himself is something special too. What a lovely man! A great way for me to end my week.
