Toby plays at dress-up

Toby is Little Red Riding Hood Hi all,

It's been quiet on the blog-response front recently, which I take as a good indication that you are having a great summer hols! There may be other reasons for this but I prefer to look on the positive side – indeed many call me 'Glass half-full Franklin' – they also call me many other things but I pretend I haven't heard them! Marian keep the faith – your pals will return!

I too have been lucky enough to spend quite a lot of time with my family recently and when we do go away we take Toby (our Beardie, not son) when we can but when we can't he stays with my mum Pat down in West Sussex.

Toby loves it there as she spoils him rotten and he also has the company of her own dog Pixie, a Pomeranian-mix rescued by the RSPCA from a puppy farm. There are often other members of the pack for Toby to play with as Mum often looks after them for friends and neighbours.

Toby tries out a new look Despite the prospect of being spoilt and at least three walks a day along the seafront, Toby still likes our company and often tries various disguises to try and con his way onto our holiday trips (as you can see from the photos). He was obviously read 'Little Red Riding Hood' as a puppy !

Anyway, there's lots happening at the Q as always and I'll blog again soon – hopefully to a sunbathed, rested audience.

Take care,
Dale x

I love playing at dress-up!!! (Bet you never saw that one coming Daleo!!! Lol!!!!)
Silly blog this time. Let’s see if we can coax our pals back to your blog (Hi Beanie! Great name.) I have been wondering whether it’s my antics that have sent everyone running for the hills! I hope not. I know Gail’s ok anyway cos I’ve ‘seen’ her on Ali Keenan’s blog.
Back to dressing-up then. ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ sounds good to me. “My, my Granpa Daleo, what big……………….. begonias you’ve got”!!!!
Also on the games front, you’ll no doubt be planning ‘Hide and Seek’ on 26 September if you’ve heard I’m visiting QVC Towers! Keeley has asked me to put in an appearance on her Elemis Mini Series (which I’m extremely flattered and thrilled about). I do hope I see you and I’m certainly up for a bit of fox hunting, lol!!
Here’s a daft joke for Gail (and indeed anyone else who likes daft jokes):
A woman hears her doorbell ring. She goes to answer it and sees a young man standing there. The young man says “Excuse me missus, I pass your house every morning and see you hitting your son over the head with a loaf of bread. But, this morning, you hit him over the head with a chocolate cake”. The woman says “Yes, it’s his birthday”!!!!!!
Toby looks gorgeous in his little hood by the way. Big kiss for Toby x. Bigger kiss for toby’s daddy XXXXXXXX.

Daleo it’s Gaileo here, I’m back. Hi Ma, I’ve left a reply on Daleo’s previous blog x
I too am a glass half full type of girl Dale; in fact I insist on being a glass completely full kinda girl, especially when it comes to a nice chilled glass of wine. Nice to be back Dale, have you missed me?
Fancy blogging about ‘dressing up’ Dale. I can’t wait for Ma’s response, ha ha.
Your mum sounds like a lovely lady Dale. Toby is very lucky to have two loving families, there are many, many dogs who are not so fortunate.

There you are ‘fair weather blogger’ Gaileo! Even Daleo has blogged more than you lately, lol!!! Great to have you back – though it was nice having him to myself for a bit!

How exciting Ma that you are going to be on QVC. I will definitely be watching and shouting “Hi Ma” when you make an appearance. Please try and give us a wave. Don’t forget to check out the size of Daleo’s begonias if you get a chance, if he is brave enough to make an appearance!!! Will you be ‘dressing up’ Ma? Poor Daleo, I can hear his knees knocking from here!!!!!!!!! Come in your moustache and rolled down wellies Ma; that should break the ice, ha ha. Hello Dale xx

Dale’s just playing hard to get Ma, I’ve met his type before. Either that or he’s been lying about the size of his begonias!!
    Welcome back Dale xx

I reckon you’ve hit the nail on the whatsit. Big begonias my Arrrrrrrsen Wenger!!!!!
I tell ya, that Daleo is just a big tease. Any time now, he’ll start parading around in his leopard print slanket!
So you’re back at work on Wednesday are you Mr Tease. Well, I might not see you, I might be watching …………………….. paint dry! (That’s me playing hard to get back Gail)

Ma’s visit would have made a fantastic blog for you Dale, with photos etc. You’ve missed out on a good snog Dale, oops I mean blog Dale!
Dale is back Midnight Friday with High Tech Toys Ma. I might not see you either Dale, I’ve got enough toys (if you know what I mean).

As my paint had dried, I decided to watch you on the Diamonique show last night Dale. Did you watch Gail? Carmel asked Dale whether he had any girlfriends. We didn’t get so much of a sniff of a mention!
And there he was teasing again with his ‘ring alphabet’. “L for love”, “S for sexy”, but they were really struggling on ‘U’. I tell ya, I had it in an instant, ‘U’ for undress Daleo!!!!!!!!! C’mon, keep up Mr Tease!!!!!!!

    Hiya Dale,
Can I just say, Toby is so cute and adorable and a really good Dresser! I have a 10 year old chihuahua at home called Winston, but unfortunately he doesn’t like to play dress up, unlike your dog Toby here.
My family have been shopping with QVC for over 7 years now, and you are our favourite presenter, you always give detailed product info as well as making us laugh sometimes as well. It would be really great if we could get a photo of you.

Not again; Daleo’s gone AWOL Ma! Yes I did watch and personally I think it should be G for Gail, M for Marian, T for Tease, S for Slanket and U for UNIFORM. I do so love a uniform Ma. Having once worked for the Police I can confirm that there’s nothing nicer than a man with a big truncheon and a pair of handcuffs. Daleo’s gonna lose me if he doesn’t reply soon Ma. A girl can’t wait around forever, yawn yawn………….

Dale, after reading back the comments I made, I realise that I may have over-stepped the mark with comments not suitable for a QVC Blog. I apologise if I offended anyone. It was intended to be innocent banter and hope it was received as such. It’s time to bail out, but hope you don’t mind if I drop in every now and again if I promise to behave. I’ve made a great pal in Ma. Lots of love Ma, Gail xxxxxx

Dearest Gail, if your comments were not suitable, there’s no doubt The Q would have edited them – as I well know!!!!! Please don’t bail out, we have such fun sweetie. And I’m sure anyone with a sense of humour knows it’s all innocent banter we’re having. I think Dale enjoys our blogs don’t you Dale’icious??!!!
Lots and lots of love Gail
