There's not much to report from home this week. I've been redecorating the kitchen – I hate the thought of starting, but find that once I have (keep this to yourselves) I actually enjoy it and find it quite therapeutic.
On Monday night I went up to London with a very old pal to see Paul Merton's rather "interesting" stage show – when I say ‘very old pal’ he's not very old, but he's been my pal since we were about 11 So perhaps he is quite old after all!
I have to say London's looking very good these days – I suppose a lot of effort was made for this year, due to the focus of the world being upon us. But nevertheless it's really looking great and is still a wonderful place to visit.
I'm sure he thinks that I can't put them on without waking him and thus forgetting to take him with me. I'm obviously humanising him. They are just probably the right height for his chin or remind him of his favourite cheese!
As always at this time of year it's all happening at the Q!
This week I am launching a FAB TSV (Today's Special Value for new Customers) on Thursday into Friday. It's a great little mixer from Baking Boutique, our new very own range that sits under the umbrella of cook's essentials.
It has a great look, price and accessories to produce that perfect dough or cake etc. I'm not the baker in my house – both my wife and daughter love it – but I am of course the Chief Taster, with my son a willing apprentice.
The next evening I'm launching an all singing, all dancing 50” LED 3D Full HD Smart TV from Samsung for Saturday's TSV – can't wait! It's got way too many features to list here but please do join me at the launch to learn more.
Don't forget Saturday Night Gifts with myself and guests at 8pm and a first on Sunday, for all you crafters, I'll be introducing you to Martha Stewart herself for the 3rd anniversary show of her imaginative crafts. Martha has an extremely busy work schedule in the USA, including her own homestyle TV series and rarely gets the chance to visit the UK.
Stay lucky and well until next time.
