I hope you’ve had a lovely week and weekend.
The weather has been so warm over the last few days in London with my car telling me we’ve reached 17C on a number of days! I think it’s fair to say spring has definitely arrived, and the proof is in the blossom which is emerging on the cheery tree in our back garden. Each year it produces the most amazing crop of cherries – comfortably a carrier bag full – although the birds get to most of them first! As my daughter pointed out to me – we can go to the shops and buy cherries whereas the birds can’t! It’s a fair point.
Congratulations to Elizabeth Resch who won the Links of London prize we had up for grabs last week! That reminds me – if you weren’t the lucky winner do keep an eye out for the beautiful Links of London Today’s Special Value offer on air this Friday 22nd – it’s gorgeous!
We’ve been having a good tidy through the house recently and I braved the contents of the cupboard under the stairs. So much to go through and I came across this VHS tape of a show I presented on QVC back in 2000. I’m intrigued to see it but we don’t have a VHS player and I don’t know anyone who does! I’m on the search!
As well as the house I’m tackling the garden which includes dealing with this old bucket which has become a bit of an overgrown garden itself!
Speaking of gardening – do keep an eye out for Richard Jackson’s gardening shows. Over the years, Richard has brought a number of incredible gardening products to air, including Flower Power, which has given so many of our viewers incredible results.
I’m looking forward to being part of Beauty Day this Sunday 24th April. I’m thrilled to see I’m on air at 7pm with SBC and then Elemis at 9pm. I hope you can join me.
In the meantime – take care and I’ll be sure to bring another competition prize soon!
All the best
