Well the topic of conversation for many this week has been the return of the summer! Amazing weather! I wonder how long it'll last? I was chatting to a colleague who had heard that snow was on the way in October!! Time will tell!
I was on air this week launching the Lyla TSV. Imogen, my guest, and I were chatting about trying something new. For example, trying a new colour or style. I don't know about you, but I can be fairly guilty of staying with the 'same thing' time and time again.
It reminded me of a great statement I read a while back, which is, 'when was the last time you did something for the first time?' It's thought provoking isn't it?
For me, I think the last time I did something for the first time was to try rock climbing this year (it's become a great past time with the family now). Also, Saw The Ride at Thorpe Park (it's amazing). I rode Saw for the first time this year and I'm still getting over going on that ride 18 times in one day – my daughter is a huge fan!
Of course, not everything we try for the first time is a success, despite the good intentions! I remember, as a little boy, trying liver which my piano teacher made me for tea. Arghhhhh, never again! I think I secretly fed it to her dog, Bess!
Take care and see you soon!
p.s. Bungee jumping – only did that the once!
