Pancake day!

Pancake day

Hello, hope you're well!

We'll come onto the photo of the pancake in a moment :-)!

I just want to mention my Ojon TSV this coming Saturday at 12 midnight. I have the pleasure of launching the four-piece collection. I've been using the TSV for the last few days and I'm seeing and feeling some great results with my hair.

Ojon We always strive to bring you value for money here at QVC and I have to say that this TSV is beyond exceptional! The Ojon story is a magical and inspirational one and I'm really looking forward to it and of course I'll be in the company of Dennis. Do join me – I have a feeling it's going to be in great demand!

Ok, on to the pancake. In the Brook household we just love them (especially the children). I'm no master chef but I do make a pretty good pancake. Well, on Tuesday I made nearly half a litre of pancake mix.

I made a good dozen or so, when the children and my other half finally said to me 'Why don't you have one for yourself Dad, we're full now!' So, I was allowed to have the remainder of all the mix to myself… and this (see picture above) is all it was able to produce! The kids thought it was hilarious… my tummy less so!

There are all sorts of fancy and wonderful things you can do with a pancake, but for me, lemon and sugar… keep it simple and really tasty – if barely a mouthful!

Take care and see you Saturday with Ojon.

Charlie x

    Hi Charlie
Oh poor you! Left with the smallest pancake–that wouldn’t fill you up much! I watch you when you are doing food shows and you seem to love your food very much, but I don’t know where you store it all as you are always so slim. What’s your secret Charlie? Take Care x

    Hi Charlie
Bless, just left with the remainder of the mixture, never mind make them for yourself when the kids are at school and you’ll be fine.
But you do remind me of my youngest son James who is very very slim, not anorexic just very slim. The thing with him you can feed him a mountain of food and I do not know where he puts it! The weight with him is just kind of invisible, whereas for me I can look at a cake and the weight just put on a pound. Not fair I say.
