Not entirely sure where January and February of this year went! Easter is just a matter of weeks away now and if you know me, you know how much I love my food and chocolate is no exception! Which reminds me I must get round to ordering some more Gower Cottage Brownies (and hide them from my family!)
I am partial to the occasional Easter egg too. It’s hard to pick a favourite but I love Kinder Eggs, and yes, I still love to make the little toy hidden inside! The good thing as well about a Kinder Egg is that they’re available all year round!
It’s been another fun filled week at QVC. We’ve had plenty of really enjoyable shows. Richard Jackson and I were together again and it was a pleasure to be back on air with Kelly Hoppen. I love being on air. The thrill of being live always keeps me on my toes… well, most of the time! However, there’s plenty at QVC which keeps me busy off air too.
I’m lucky that I’m able to do a fair bit to prepare for ‘on air’ at home. The power of the Internet allows this. It also allows me to spend time amongst the best of company – my cairn terriers. They’re adorable. We have a little routine of going for a wonderful walk and then coming home. They’ll settle down for a snooze while I start preparing for my shows with a green tea or hot chocolate to hand (perhaps with a cookie or brownie!)
My cairns tend to curl up by my feet or in the arm chair just behind me when I’m working. They’ve even been known to pull their blanket from one place to another to be in their preferred spot!
As always, I’m looking forward to being back at QVC HQ and looking at the schedule I’m thrilled to see I’m launching a brand new show with guest Elsenoor this coming Monday 7th March at 7pm – Sogni d’Oro Fine Jewellery. A truly exquisite range – I really hope you can join me.
Take care, have a fabulous week and see you soon.
