As I told you last week, it took no time at all to say yes when I was asked whether I'd like to fly to Dubai to board the Cunard Queen Elizabeth for a couple of days. It was to check out the cruise ship for our new Imagine Cruising holiday shows, which started yesterday and continue every Tuesday in May, and also on QVC Extra.
But then came the troublesome part – what to wear?

Packing for a holiday is always the worst part for me (except, perhaps, the laundry on our return!). However, the buying team at QVC fashion came to my rescue – with our new summer fashion styles ready for you, we've picked a few pieces that make up the perfect Cruise Capsule Wardrobe.
Indeed, these clothes would work for any holiday, as going away gives us the perfect excuse to dress up a little. Dresses, in fact, are the simplest way to stay looking cool and gorgeous, so I've included a few different styles. But separates have their place too, with cropped cotton trousers being the perfect way to show off your ankles but not too much leg!
I was photographed in each outfit when I got home – just click on an image to get a closer look.
Designers like Ronen Chen combine natural fibres and flowing shapes to give effortless elegance and comfort, and there's nowhere better to look than new-to-QVC Amita Naithani for the essential 'relax on board ship' kaftan.
But my favourite of all is the gorgeous sunset print dress from Ingenue that I'm wearing in the clip above and the photo at the top. Even on the most relaxed cruise you'll want at least one dress that makes you feel special, and this one does it for me!
There are a couple of items that are on their way but not quite ready to order just yet, but keeping checking our website – they won't be long and might be showing as 'Out of Stock' until we've got them ready for shipping to customers. You can shop for most of the items straight away though:

Take care, Kathy x
