Have you seen my slipper?

Well, nothing short of chaos describes life at home right now… However it's nothing short of brilliant!

We collected our puppies, Misty and Bramble on Saturday and what a whirlwind it's been so far. They are utterly adorable. The photo is of Bramble who managed to keep still for a moment!

The moonThey keep taking my slippers and more often than not I'm walking around wearing just the one! Without going into too much detail the house training is going well, but we've had the odd (and I'm sure to be expected) disaster!

We just love them and they are so loving in return. They make us laugh so, so much, with their antics of leaping, jumping and rolling around! Oh, and they want everything right now!

Whilst writing this I've had to go and rescue a ream of paper from the printer and Misty is obsessed with chewing the knob on the radiator… training is due to commence! My children adore them and within a day taught them to sit and give a paw! They've just found a shoe and are trying to remove the laces! I'd like to point out they have plenty of toys!

On to work matters! It's been a busy few days at QVC! Dale and I filmed a promo together… Watch out for that on air in the next week or two when all will be revealed! There were a number of out takes which are bound to go to air at some stage… I've no doubt!

Misty has found a sock….!

Also, I was loaned the Fuji TSV camera coming up at the weekend (I'm launching it Saturday 24th November at midnight). Well, it's an amazing camera and a pleasure to use. It boasts 14 mega pixels and a huge 30x optical zoom!

A spiderThe photo of Bramble was taken with the Fuji. I'm thrilled with how the picture of the moon (above) turned out and then the spider (pictured left) next morning! It really is an astonishing device and I've recommended it to a number of family and friends already.

I think I may have to sign off here. We've just had a pamphlet through the letterbox which the puppies got to before me and are currently shredding… Oh, and my slipper has gone again!

Take care

Charlie x

Hullo Charlie, nice puppys my wife and I are volunteers for the germanshepherd dog rescue eastern region. We foster dogs that have been dumped, illtreated,no longer wanted etc.Tuesday evening we were landed with a gorgeous campagne coloured german shepherd whose owners could no longer manage to exercise him as they were to old.rather than give him to any old person they had arranged for him to be put to sleep on wednesday morning but the GSDR heard about it and rescued him just in time.we will keep him now until a forever home is found for him.Enjoy your puppys.Best wishes from Ron and Sheila Hjerling.

So pleased to hear of your new additions. I brought home my puppy blue roan cocker spaniel on the 21st November, last year and the year has gone so fast. Its just like having a child again, and he doesnt leave my side, he would get in our bed if we’d let him. I am sure you will have lots of fun and there will be a place in your heart for them forever.
Your Christmas will now be so complete.
    Best Wishes Lynne in Castleford.

Hi Charlie. Your puppies sound really gorgeous. I am very lucky to have two black and white papillons (Uncle & Niece) My oldest one Sydney is nearly seventeen and blind and deaf my little girl Rosie is 11 and I call her my lady with attitude she occasionally likes to pinch something just to get your attention. But I wouldn`t be without either of them. They bring so much joy and its lovely to be greeted when you get home. At least with puppies they will keep you busy. Have bought the TSV Fuji camera and so looking forward to getting out and about taking photos of the Isle of Portland where I live.
    Best wishes Carolyne on Portland

You’re pups are adorable.I had my first Cairn at 15 and my sixth and present girl,Tia is 12.Sadly her full litter sister died in June 2011; they were inseparable and slept, ate and played together.I know some say that it is not wise to have two pups from the same litter but the love and joy they brought was immense. Wishing you many years of fun and love together.Karen

Hi Charlie, your puppies sound adorable. Brings back very happy memories for me as I too has a cairn terrier called Fudge, he was my first dog and what a character he was – very strong willed, so beware, but I loved him too bits, as I am sure you and your family will with your two little ladies. Ummm don’t you just love puppies, they are like little teddy bears and just as cute !!
Have fun .. and enjoy them.

Hi Charlie! Carla here Tignanello Guest….I’m feeling your mixed emotions about your new pups. I lost my last doggie Mitzy, a month ago, she was 17…and I just couldn’t cope living in a house without a dog. So I now have 2 14 week old Yorkshire Terriers! Harvey and Charlie (not named after you…that would be weird? LOL) Wow, what hard work! Poopy pads are a life saver, Charlie has already chewed through the telephone wires, and my two, like yours love a sock…Doing laundry is a whole new ball game now!!!
But they really bring so much joy, and have certainly helped the grief of losing my Mitz. Enjoy your new additions, will look forward to comparing puppy stories next time we work together!

Hello Lynne, your spaniel sounds adorable! We love spaniels, my sister has a tan and white cocker spaniel… She is so naughty and loves to dig holes in my Dad’s garden which he subsequently nearly falls down!
They wouldn’t have her any other way!
    Kind regards

Hello Yvie, that’s a really good point!I haven’t seen our squirrel for a few days now!? We are a little concerned about the tree, we’ll have to keep the decorations really high.I have a feeling they’ll try and climb through the branches to reach the star on top!
    I’ll keep you posted!
    Take care

Hello Karen, thanks a for your reply.
You clearly have a love for Cairns, we do now! I’m sorry Tia lost her sister last year. Our two cairns are sisters and I must admit I did raise a few questions and concerns. However, seeing them together is nothing short of magical. They adore each other and may they have many, many years of happiness.
    Kindest regards
Ps… They’re nibbling my slippers as I write this!

Hello Claire, thanks for getting in touch. I don’t know the answer to your Fuji camera question as I don’t have the sample to hand (I returned it to the QVC buyer, although they did have to wrench it from my hand!) However, I know a man who does. Matt Trim. I’ll drop him an email and one of us will reply on my blog.
It’s a great camera, particularly for taking photos of puppies!
    Kind regards

Oh, as far as I’m concerned you named Charlie after me! (LOL)

Hi Christine, I’m sorry to read of you loss. Mollie and Hollie sound fabulous and clearly mean a great deal to you. Yorkshire terriers are adorable. I love their little faces and the expressions they manage to pull!
So glad you enjoy seeing Dale and I on air together. After our diamond show, will we be allowed again!!?
    Kind regards

Hi Charlie, may I answer Claire Stevens question on your behalf ( being the QVC photo expert) …..
Claire – i’m assuming you bought the FUJI SL300, if so i’m afraid the camera doesn’t do the selective colour setting that you describe, however there are third party programs which will do that. If you have purchased any of the Sony’s or the Fuji F800 they do allow you to take a black and white photo and elect to have one colour showing, like yellow, blue, red etc.
i hope this answers the question Claire and good luck with your photography.
Charlie – sorry for butting in
    Mat Trim

I bought the Cozee duvet set the other day, it’s lovely and warm and cosy as is my first set. My friend loves the Cleanse and Polish, just as I do! Looking forward to seeing Kim and Co too. Cheerio for now, Christine xx
