So often it's hard to see the potential good behind things that don't go as we think they should immediately – but hopefully, if we're patient, even troublesome things reveal benefits we couldn't see at the time!
The new year for me here at QVC has been all about exciting beauty! The Beauty Bash, which QVC held in conjunction with You magazine the day I was there, was truly impressive and really confirmed to me how impressive our position is in this area!
I loved the new Algenist show I had. I wonder if you watched or were tempted by it? Please let me know if you were, and how you've found it?
I've just had another very impressive new skincare brand that I'm 'face testing' for you all at the moment – Radical Skincare!
Similarly, it combines science with nature, and really takes skincare to another level. This time it's 'anti-oxidants' they get hold of and deliver in quite the most impressive and fascinating way. But you'd expect that if you knew the access the founders, Liz and Rachel, have to laboratories! Did you go for it? If so, I'd love to hear what you think of it?
If you like knowing what's the hottest thing in skincare, you're in the right place with QVC. I really think it doesn't hurt to try new things and just see what works – nothing to stop you going between the new and the old favourites, as I do!
Beauty weekend was fantastic! Here are a few clips where we were having fun with Miglena from OPI…
Did you enjoy Beauty Weekend? Or maybe you were at the Beauty Bash? Do you love the beauty here at QVC? What is it about it you love? Would love to know!
I even got to cover Alison Young's Beauty Fix one week, when she was off, which was so much fun… hearing all your questions and thoughts from Will! Not to mention the Beauty Fix with Alison a week or two before when there was the infamous 'Men in Masks' moment with Andrew Bagley from Gatineau!
So from beauty to seeds…now there's a segway! Obviously what we eat has a lot to do with how our skin looks too, so I was interested to see that the Munchy Seeds, I was given to try, are really high in the omegas 3, 6 and 9!
Anyway, I added them to my meals – some of which were also Diet Chef meals I have been flavour testing – and they were absolutely delicious! Giving texture, flavour and nourishment to any simple cuisine, without being a nutritional isomer cordon blue chef! The chocolate apricots bag didn't even make an official testing moment, they looked so good… and it was a very wise move!
So keep your eyes open for Munchy Seeds, and if you're tempted, I suppose it's worth remembering that looking after our insides has to be as important (if not more important) than our outsides. Generally the one reflects the other! Seeds and products! Covering all the options! Beauty inside and out! That's my excuse anyway.
Look forward to hearing from you all and seeing you on air soon…
Much Love, Sara x
