New YearHello and Happy New Year. I do hope you had a lovely Christmas and New Year.

Our's was lovely with plenty of food (of course!) TV and some fabulous walks with the dogs. Presents were received and given and we played hours of board games with Pictionary being a real favourite. Some of the pictures made no sense at all but, on many occasions, were still correctly guessed! Not sure how? I'll see if we've kept any of them to put on my next blog.

Dog's new bedOur two Cairns, Misty and Bramble, we're truly spoilt with their new 'day time bed' complete with paw blanket. The bed is enormous and would easily prove ample comfort for a large Labrador!

The big tidy up is under way. Party poppers collected, pulled crackers gathered and the fortune telling fish put to one side for another year! I thought we'd eaten all the mince pies but I've found another box… Hurrah!

I don't have any new year resolutions to hand, how about you? However, I do plan to play a little more piano, but that's hardly a chore I would compare to the likes of giving up smoking or alcohol! Good luck if the new diet is underway or you're giving something up for the month or for good. Let me know how you're getting on.

Guess the pictureThe new year brings a very busy schedule ahead at QVC, with some exciting shows on the way. I'm on air with an hour of Tiana B dresses on Wednesday 8th at 3pm. No doubt that'll build up an appetite for my KitchenAid show at 5pm. Do hope you can join me :-)

Thank you to all the new followers on Twitter. It's lots of fun. I'm @mecharliebrook.

Our, just for fun, guess the picture is back and here it is. I'll give the answer in my next blog.

Take care and here's to a great 2014.

    Hi Charlie,
Glad you had a good Christmas with your family and the dogs. A big build up and it is all over in no time. Have not made any new year resolutions yet, maybe one should be less time spent in the business and more time out and about (when it stops raining) with my Labradors, looking forward to the Spring so we can get down to some serious training with them.
Love the dogs bed you got for Misty and Bramble, you said big enough for a large Labrador, I can highly recommend having one, they make super companions.
Yes super show coming up Kitchen Aid, I love my mixer, and toaster, and I treated myself to the Kitchen Aid food blender. Glad you found some more mince pies, but I expect they have all gone now.
I did put up a comment about your dancing on your last blog.
Anyway Charlie, enjoy the mince pies, and a Happy new Year to you and your family.
    Love Jean X

    Morning Charlie.
Look’s like you had a good Christmas [ and the girls].
We had a lovely day [ family behaved, so did the house]. Bella was thoughly spoilt [as always]. I brought Charlie Bears Kennet for my sister and she brought the same for me [ neither knew what we were doing]. I also brought for my-self Tiddlywinks. The collection is getting bigger. I’m now waiting for ” Flipflop” in the minimo collection to come out. [ A family joke as I have a Y on my feet all year round—or nearly].
Hope the back is better now.??
Just looked at the timetable and saw Destination Gems is back at the end of the month…Can’t wait.
    Take care. Love to all.
    Love Debby. Bella say’s a BIG whoof.x

Hello Jean, thanks for your reply. I did reply to the last one but when sending it I think it may have been eaten by the internet gremlins!!
You’re right, all the mince pies have now dissapeared! I think, even for me, I’ve eaten to many over the last few weeks.
Do say a big hello to your dogs. Mine are a little fed up with all this rain now!
    Take care

Hello Debby and a. If whoof to Bella and of course happy new year!
I’m so looking forward to my destination gems show. We have some really exciting designs of jewellery coming up this year and once again I’ve put pen to pad… I’m a little nervous!
Do enjoy your wonderful Charlie Bear additions… I’ve lost count of how many we have now.
Misty and Bramble send a big whoof!!
