Happy feet and peaceful nights!

… now that sounds like heaven!

Hi everyone, hope you’re all well. I was about to say ‘and enjoying the slightly milder weather of late’, but I have just been reliably informed that there is a chance of snow again this weekend?! Well in this neck of the woods, at any rate.

What is going on? I am so done with winter this year!

How did you all get on with that ‘beast from the east’? Some of you may have heard me mention that my pipes froze (several times!) and we were without heating for a lot of it. I think I can just about stand most conditions… but not the cold!

The only plus side of the harsh weather, was probably snuggling up in bed in the warmth and comfort of my Cozee Home bedding! Honestly, if you’ve never tried it… you must.

Virtually everyone I have introduced to this range has absolutely fallen in love with it (I say virtually everyone, the only exception being Phil my middle son… but then he kind of likes arctic conditions when he hits the hay of a night! So not the best gauge!).

One of the reasons I’m chatting about the whole sleep thing is that March is Sleep Awareness Month, and there’s lots at QVC to help you peacefully and comfortably enter into the land of nod!

Some of the brands that have made a huge difference to this household are Northern Nights (pillows and feather beds), this Magniflex mattress topper and – like I said – in the colder months, Cozee Home for warmth and comfort.

They do say that we spend around a third of our lives in bed (but then again as I have said previously, we don’t really know who ‘they’ are and ‘they’ certainly don’t live in my world, lucky to five or six hours a night sometimes!).

The whole point is whether we are lucky enough to clock up a good eight hours or struggle actually getting to (or staying) asleep, we want to make it as pleasurable an experience as possible. Creating that peaceful haven is important. So if it’s more than simply a good looking bedroom that you’re after (although we can certainly help with that too: see Kelly Hoppen), then do check out the brands I’ve mentioned above.

With it being Sleep Awareness Month, we have some great offers; one highlight being our Today’s Special Value next Tuesday from Silentnight. It’s a great mattress topper from a brand that knows all about the importance of a great night’s sleep, and they have had donkey’s years to perfect their craft in this area.

Of course, it’s not just what we put on our beds but what we wear that can help too. Look out for our Heavenly Sleepwear and Cuddl Duds shows. I love this range, in fact so much so that I have now bought three pairs of this fabulous PJ set, for just lounging around! They’ve got great reviews and they’re  the comfiest ever.

Well enough about cosy snuggly sleep (can we really ever have enough of that?), what about putting a spring in your step with our gorgeous Today’s Special Value from Clarks?

These sandals are such a great style and most importantly (well in my book anyway) they are really comfortable.

Happy feet = a happy me!

The only thing possibly on par with being cold, is dealing with sore feet when you just can’t wait to kick those shoes off and be done with them!

I will be revealing this fabulous offer to you at midnight on Sunday, so please tune in. Some great colour choices too – I’ve given you a sneak preview of one.

Talking of sneak previews, we have the most amazing Today’s Special Value from Links of London on Saturday. I’m not only giving you the heads up, but it’s already available online so you have a chance to beat the rush and get in early, should you so desire.

So there you have it folks, lots to look forward to – as always – here at QVC. I shall be on your screens Sunday night, so it would be fab to have your company. Stay with us and enjoy!

Catch up soon,
Anne xx

    Hi Anne,
How horrible that you had frozen pipes and more than once!! How did the kids fare? How is married life treating your lovely boy? I’m sure you’re looking forward to an Italy trip soon? Little jealous! It’s so miserable still. Thanks for info on Clarks etc. I wish you did more trendy vionic styles! Keep warm xx
