Hello! Happy Easter! I don’t know about in your house but in this one we’ve eaten our body weight in chocolate eggs and hot cross buns! The diet starts tomorrow… always tomorrow! So the big birthday came and went. The kids baked me a cake which was very cool.
Scott took me out for the day. We went for lunch at the Ivy Brassiere in Soho, which was lovely, and then to the theatre to see Frozen. The play is a very dark and gripping thriller starring Suranne Jones, Jason Watkins and Nina Sosanya. Jason Watkins completely stole the show for me, but be warned if you want to see this it’s about a missing child and it’s challenging watching as some parts are very uncomfortable. But it was really nice to go and see something different and afterwards we had a curry at Dishoom, which is my favourite curry place at the moment.
So I had a great day and hopefully will do a girls weekend in the summer to celebrate again. My mum gave me some birthday money, so I chose to treat myself… more precisely my face! With this limited edition Pro-Collagen Marine Cream from Elemis. This set comes with a limited edition box, that Izzy already has her eye on, and a 10ml Elemis Peptide 4. My skin is in desperate need of hydration and this is just gorgeous. My skin soaks it up and it’s looking less dull and my fine lines look reduced.
The Night Recovery Peptide 4 is so luxurious and it’s not greasy or heavy, which I find with some night treatments. The great thing is with sales of this set, Elemis donate money to the charity Women for Women International UK, which helps survivors of war rebuild their lives.
We also tried to keep the kids busy over the Easter break, so we went to London Zoo. They love it and we have a family pass that works out really cost effective for us.
And the kids and I did some baking. We made unicorn biscuits and paw patrol cupcakes!
We also took them to see Peter Rabbit at the cinema which they really enjoyed. Term breaks can be so expensive when the weather is rubbish! Anyway I’ve packed them off to Granny and Grandpa’s for a week now, so they’ll have lots of adventures in the countryside which they’ll love. The sun seems to be out at the moment, which is great! Hopefully the spring is here finally.
I’ve been embracing a bold lip as part of my make-up at the moment and the palette I’m reaching for is the Bobbi Brown Crazy for Lip one that also come with a lip gloss. I love it as you can really create your own shade from corals, to fuchsia to a fab red and a natural, it’s got it all!
How amazing have The Big Deals been? And we have some great ones this week too. This beautiful dress from Ronnie Nicole, a fabulous tanning set to get you summer ready from Utan & Tone and a great deal from Alcatel on their Android Smartphone.
I’m very excited to let you know that I’m now going to be popping up on your screens on the main QVC channel! I can’t wait! EEK! Enjoy the rest of your Easter, thanks for reading my blog and I’ll see you soon.
