I am so happy! The clocks have sprung forward, the ‘Beast from the East’ has gone west (or wherever, I don’t really care), the days are now getting longer, and Easter is this weekend. It’s one of my favourite times of the year.
I really love it. We always have a big family get-together (14 for lunch this year) and we do secret bunny – that’s secret Santa, but swap the beard for floppy ears! It’s great fun, and then there’s the egg hunt; although with the forecast looking a tad damp and drizzly, it may be indoors this year. No matter, all will be well and it will be just great to get everyone together.
We have even more reason to celebrate this weekend, with a couple of Easter Corker Today’s Special Values!
Lovely Lulu is going all out this Friday to bring us a true supersize Time Bomb eggstravanza (ooh bad play on words, nothing but obvious, sorry couldn’t resist).
All of her firm anti-aging favourites are here in fantastic supersizes, including that wonderful Complexion Cocktail Chlorophyll, that so many of you have raved about (check out those reviews).
This is amazing for reviving and hydrating the feel of your skin, giving the appearance of a more youthful, plumper result. Just what we need after (what feels like) the longest winter in the history of long winters! If you’ve never tried the Time Bomb range from the lovely lady herself, this is definitely the time to put your toe in the water, as they say, or at this rate dive right in with those supersizes!
And for all you Lulu devotees out there, what an opportunity to stock up on all of your essentials. You have the eye cream and the night cream, as well as your amazing Collagen Time Bomb moisturiser too.
Now, Easter Sunday welcomes (with my good self) the Dyson Hot and Cold Fan Today’s Special Value.
I have had one for several years, and it’s been great – in fact, it’s been absolutely indispensable these last few weeks. I’ve always kept it in the loft conversion bedroom, as it tends to get warm up there in the summer months but fairly cool in the winter. I honestly don’t know what we would’ve done when that ‘Easty Beastie’ struck and our pipes froze. If I loved it before, I can honestly say it is now up there as one of my best ever purchases, in the almost 19 years here at QVC (my goodness, I’m feeling old!).
Actually, I may do a blog on that topic soon. My best ever QVC purchases. I wonder what yours would be?
Anyway must hop off and spring into action (apologies again for bad Easter-type puns), lots to do and – as usual – very little time to get it all done.
Really looking forward to catching up with you all at the weekend and do have a truly wonderful Easter,
Lots of love,
