Half term, birthdays, haircare and skincare

I hope everyone had a great half term despite the weather!

My little boy had his ninth birthday last week. How did that happen? Nine already! It just goes to show how quickly the time passes, it's almost as if their little lives are on fast forward. Still, I'm determined to savour every moment.

Our best half term trip was to Gullivers in Milton Keynes. It's a small theme park for ages up to about 10 and was brilliant. We also went to see Oliver for Taylor's birthday which was excellent too.

Thank you for all your lovely comments. I noticed that Christine you were asking about my skin and hair routine. Well, at the moment I'm very into everything that Ojon do and I stepped-up the treatment part of the routine when I first got back from holiday, which really helped as my hair was quite dry and it's back to normal now.

With skincare I tend to mix my brands a lot and I'm lucky that my skin is not in any way sensitive so it allows me to chop and change all the time. This is great because I love trying anything new.

Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream At the moment I am using Melatogenine from Gatineau, an all time favourite of mine, and Pro Collagen Marine Cream from Elemis. I'm also using the Hydrotenseur Serum, a Decleor product for my eyes, because they were feeling a little dry.

A brand new discovery for me is the When Hope Is Not Enough serum and night cream from Philosophy, which I think is fantastic. I wake up like a new women!

Oh, and lastly those leather trousers that Merv mentioned. I haven't seen those for about ten years, I think my leather trouser days are long gone!

Take care,

Jilly x
