Hair flair – my new look

6

Hair is a vital part of the way we look. It can change the way we look completely, in fact a new hair style can take years off us…(we live in hope!). QVC has treated us ladies to a new look with Richard Ward, stylist to the stars. What an experience…

The salon, which is just off Kings Road in London, is to die for – a very stylish place. As you can imagine I had already moved in, in my dreams of course.

Richard is such a wonderful, warm, friendly and, of course, incredibly talented stylist. Everything about him just tells you he was born to be a hairdresser, and not just any hairdresser.

You name them, he's styled them. I remember seeing Tara Palmer-Tomkinson in an interview a few years back when she came out of the jungle and her hair looked amazing. I went to the ends of the earth to find out who had styled it and it was Richard Ward. Unfortunately his waiting list was a mile long!

So to have this honour was a dream come true. I had my consultation with Richard and we were so close to chopping my golden locks very short. I have had long hair for many years and I think you'll agree your hair becomes a big part of your identity.

I kept an eye on the scissors as we chatted away and we had so much fun. In fact, at one point we were laughing so much, just telling our silly stories of our life experiences, I thought I was going to burst. Before I knew it, my hair had transformed into this glossy, stylish look that made me look and feel a million dollars.

I had so many comments on how well I looked and how shiny and healthy my hair looked too. I felt like the luckiest girl in the world. Thank you QVC! I feel another trip coming on soon but I will go earlier next time so I can browse around the shops next to the salon. After all, who wouldn't take advantage of those lovely shop windows with clothes saying 'please come in, I've been on a hanger too long'!

Ive been away so not seen your new hair do yet I do think you will look good with short hair as you have very fine hair and to grow it long I do think it looks better if your hair is thick. Can you believe Ive just had mine chopped off it was down to my waist and now its a short bob but it was very thick and heavy I just cant get over how light headed I feel, so easy now to deal with , should have done it years ago also everyone tells me I look years younger so that will do for me.Best Wishes Margaret.

I am happy you had such good experience with Salon Richard Ward. I Live in Geneva but felt like you I wanted high lights done at Richard Ward. The result was very disappointig. Dry overprossesed hair darker then when I arrived making the look very dull.
    Best wishes Birgith

    Hi Jill
I really do like the colour of your nail polish, it looks quite grey on tv, could you please tell me what it is, I thought it may be Nails inc Porchester Sq but I might be wrong here. Thank you, keep up the good work, I love watching you on tv.
