Grow your own begonias with Today’s Special Value

Begonias in apricot shades Today's Special Value Despite a blanket of snow covering the village where I live, there's a warm and happy glow at the Jackson household. That's because I'm really excited that we're launching the garden season on QVC this Saturday and to kick it off, we've an amazing TSV!

We're offering the fantastic trailing begonia in apricot shades which I reckon is the finest, easy-grow, colour-packed plant that anyone can grow in their hanging baskets (even Julian could grow it, it's that easy!)

We've sold young plants before and they've been deservedly very popular but this time we're selling one-year-old tubers which will grow and flower extra fast this summer.

To give them a kick start, I like to gently push the tubers into pots of damp compost, cover with cling film and put them in an airing cupboard. I check them daily and once I see the first shoots, remove the cling film and place the plants on to a window sill to grow on.
If the TSV isn't exciting enough, I'm also launching my brand-new book of gardening tips exclusively on QVC. It's on Advanced Order and I've promised to personally sign every book ordered. So it's going to be quite a  weekend!
I do hope you can join me this Saturday,

These look so lovely. I am due to have an operation next week and will not be able to do any lifting until March. Is it possible to store these tubers until then and plant them directly into my baskets?

I’ve had these wonderful begonias from QVC for two seasons and they’re absolutely magnificent. I have order two more lots today but will also be using corms from the previous years. My hanging baskets have been exceptional using these begonias and I am delighted that they’re TSV today. They’re foolproof and even flower prodigiously by my back door under the roof, completely out of the sun. I would recommend them for a wonderful display for months on end…….and corms to plant again next year.
