Grow more for less with Flower Power

3

Make this the year you grow more, for less!

This Sunday, 14th February, we have a 2.8kg container of Flower Power as our Today’s Special Value offer, it’s is our biggest, best-value tub ever!

Last spring, I introduced the new and improved formulation of Flower Power with chelated micro-nutrients (they’re like vitamins for plants). I knew that it was better than ever and I was delighted when QVC viewers got in touch to tell me what amazing results they’d achieved during the summer. I’ll be showing some pictures of their fabulous plants on air during the day.

I was also thrilled when professional growers told me of the success they’d had too. Over the  summer, they won over 40 gold medals / first prizes at top shows, including Chelsea and Hampton Court. The Flower Power-fed winning exhibits included Fuchsias, Clematis, Roses, Begonias and lots of vegetables too -tomatoes, potatoes, carrots and more.

Begonias

Garden News, the top selling garden weekly, ran a Container of the Year competition and the winner, as well as six of the seven runners up, fed their plants with Flower Power. What’s more, an entire village used it too. Spofforth was Yorkshire’s entry in the hotly contested Royal Horticultural Society’s Britain in Bloom competition. They fed their baskets with Flower Power and their village won Gold and Best in Category in the nationwide contest.

One of the secrets of growing better plants is to feed them. But not all plant foods are the same; the amount and the balance of nutrients varies enormously between different products. Flower Power has extra high levels of potash and it can help any gardener, from beginner to expert, grow more flowers, fruits and vegetables. This could be the year you prove it to yourself, and grow more for less with Today’s Special Value. So please do join me on Sunday to find out more.

CLEMATIS

It’s a busy time for me with our garden shows at QVC at the moment so I love my time off when I can potter around the garden, catching up on all those little jobs, like sowing my sweet peas. It’s lovely seeing so many plants in flower this early, my hellebores are looking fabulous for the time of year and I’ve even got some muscari in bloom. It really makes me feel that spring is just around the corner. And that’s a lovely feeling!

Happy gardening,

Richard

Flower Power is wonderful but are there any plans to produce it as ready to apply slow release granules? I have a bad back & find using a watering can & making up the solution difficult. I’m sure lots of customers would like to have this option.

With Spring just around the corner (even though temperatures, this morning, were edging a chilly one degree in London), I cannot wait for the first 2016 airing of this 2.8kg pack of the legendary FLOWER POWER.

Whilst I have been Gardening for over 45 years I thought I’d never be surprised plant food but last year, 2015, I discovered the product and it was a revelation. Previously, I was “cocktailing” several planet feeds – powders and liquids – to gain optimum growth on my plants.

Now, with FLOWER POWER, it a coupe of scoops and watering it into the soil for the roots to feast upon. Simple yet the most effective plant food that I have had the pleasure to use.

Looking forward to re-stocking-up in this Special Value pack to see me through 2016.

Similar question to previous one really. Can you sprinkle Flower Power onto the ground/pot & then water in without mixing it with water first?
