Greenworks garden special

0

Although I am not that good a gardener, I do love nurturing and tending to things, and making the garden look great. As I constantly seem to run out of time to do the gardening, it’s always of interest to me when I see a special offer on a tool kit that will save me time. The Greenworks Garden Today’s Special Value offer that is planned for Sunday 29th May is a really lovely solution.

It features a very powerful collection of essential tools for tidying and shaping the garden, including a hedge trimmer, a strimmer and a blower, all powered by lithium-ion battery technology, which delivers long-lasting duration. Plus it has 2 x 24V batteries to ensure it’s got enough guts to get the job done, even in a bigger garden.

The great news is that you get two batteries and a special offer on the price (but only for Bank Holiday Sunday).

The hedge trimmer cuts quickly and cleanly, and as you’re using a battery, there isn’t a cable to get in the way, or a petrol motor to disturb the neighbours!

Having said that, a friend who was gardening next door (who happens to have her RHS gardening qualification), was very impressed and had a little try of everything. She thought the weight was great and the power was far superior to her battery tools (she asked me when it was on sale as she would like to get one!)

I tidied up the hedges, and the blower was fantastic at ‘gathering’ the clippings without all of the gravel. The strimmer does exactly what you would expect, but with more certainty and torque than I would have thought.

I did use my favourite broom to finish off the tidying, and all in all I was very happy with my work (although my wife did comment that I was wearing far too nice a shirt to be gardening).
