Hope you’re all well. It’s been a bit of a mix weather wise, hasn’t it? (Such a British thing to do… talking about the weather, I mean!) Certainly down south it’s been changeable anyway, one minute it’s warm and sunny, and the next I’m knocking up the heating at night! Even just last week I had a few things to sort out in Italy and it was the same story there. Everyone keeps saying we’re in for a good summer… I do hope so. Well, that’s what Richard Jackson is saying and I’m hoping he’s right (one of the nicest people at QVC actually!).
Okay, so what’s on the horizon for me in the world of shopping on QVC?
I have a Liz Earle show coming up on Saturday 28th at 10pm (this house doesn’t function without Cleanse and Polish!) and another fabulous Today’s Special Value from Instyler launching on Sunday at midnight. The whole of the Bank Holiday Monday will be focused on some of the biggest brands that we bring you at QVC, with our Got To Have It event! I love these shows!
They’re fun too as they’re all shared by two presenters, so that usually means a bit of hectic hilarity along the way (well, midnight I’m sharing with Dale, so enough said there on the hilarity front… endless crazy Scottish accent impressions for starters! Nooo!)
I’m especially excited about Monday as I’m doing my first Adesso hour. We’ve had the brand a while now and although myself and the shows have managed to bypass each other, I am a huge huge fan! Many of you will know that I really struggle with comfortable footwear, but I’m so grateful to brands like Skechers, Emu Australia, and now Adesso, for coming to the rescue.
Here are my favourite Adesso buys, I love my funky biker boots so much that I got them in two colours! Now I’m just waiting for the sunshine so I can show off my summer sandals too!
If by the time you read this Monday’s show has been and gone and, like me, you’re always on the look out for great footwear, then check out the range online!
In the midst of this weekend, I’m thrilled to be bringing you a premiere nail show on Sunday 29th at 7pm… Essie! Now this ladies, is one show you don’t want to miss. The beauty buyers and general buzz here about the brand is most definitely one of excitement!! So please mark the diaries!
Well, now that we’ve sorted out our diaries and our QVC programme guide for the foreseeable, I wish you all well for the remainder of the month of May, enjoy the Bank Holiday, and here’s to a scorcher in June… please!
Richard, I’ll be having a word if your predictions don’t come true. As you can see, my little Sophie is all ready and awaiting the heatwave! We just can’t get her out of those sunglasses at the moment; whatever the weather!
Take care, you lovely lot!
