Try my tasty homemade coleslaw

Pipa's homemade coleslaw Gosh time is flying by and I haven't blogged in ages!!

I've had it on my to do list and inspiration came last night from a Twitter follower (which you can also do www.Twitter.com/PIPALIVE) when I tweeted about my homemade coleslaw - "That's a great idea for a QVC blog," said Sukibear777 so here goes…

My homemade coleslaw

  • 1 white cabbage shredded (in my Gordon Ramsay blender from QVC!)
  • 4 carrots grated (in the same machine)
  • 1 red onion (same machine again, funny that!)
  • 1 handful sultanas
  • 10 heaped tbsps plain yoghurt (EasiYo would be good here, but I ran out!!)
  • 4 tbsps mayo

… and that's it!!! You could add a drop of Dijon mustard but for the sake of the children I gave that one a miss!! And I made so much, it's currently in the largest Lock & Lock I own!! And I photographed it with my Fuji Finepix… (sorry, how did we do life before QVC??)

    Lol hi Pipa,
That’s such a funny but very useful blog! Nice to hear from you as I don’t often catch you on the telly. You need to be on in the evenings more!! You all must do your own usual time slots and it’s nice to have a variety of you in the evenings…just my own thought. I think you’re so funny and normal and so super trendy! Hope all is going well with your lovely hubbie’s family. Your Canadian adventure must have been surreal for want of a better word.
Have a lovely weekend. Take care,
    Susan

    Hi Susan
Thanks for your message. I used to do evenings all the time, but this year I’ve gone right down to 2 days a week and often during the day – it was a choice I made so that I could be around more for school run and bed time etc… however I’ve been asked to do some more evening shows so you might see me a bit more in the coming weeks (altho I’m going to try to keep to my 2 days if I can).
Our surreal adventure continues …thanks for asking xx

    Susan
