Go Gadget Go!

Pipa with her electric sander I’ve just got back from work having done a QVC Selection hour in which there was an electric sander, which I got very excited about much to my colleagues’ surprise.

Well some of them anyway, as other ones remember me from my early days when I was a guest with a chainsaw in hand (and a bandanna on my head, but I don’t remember that bit, although I do believe it!) Conveniently I don’t have a photo of that.. it was 1998/99 so pre-digital camera ownership!!
So, in order to satisfy those of you who giggled at my tales of sanding after bedtime earlier this month, here I am, not only sanding, but may I also point your attention towards my glasses??

Pipa sanding The coolest glasses EVER!!! I also got these from QVC – I’m not a glasses wearer so I bought the 0.0 magnification. What is so fabulous about these is that they have LED lights in them and so you become like a walking torch – they are GENIUS!!! I LOVE THEM!!!

Amazing for reading in bed, creeping around at night time without putting lights on, precision sanding, painting, crafting – even cleaning the oven!!!! I use them for EVERYTHING!!!
Where would we be without QVC and these fabulous gadgets???

    Hello pipa!
You look so into the DIY and those glasses really suit you… All your missing is the iPod or archos as its QVC…
I must admit that I know what you mean about QVC, I too wouldn’t know what to do without it!
Apart from the great products/ranges you sell its also entertaining to watch… you all do such an excellent job (Although you and julia roberts are clearly better than the others, but we’ll keep quiet so they don’t get jealous lol…)
May i be cheeky and ask if you know whether QVC will ever sell Aeveda again? I so miss that…
Hope you and your family are well…

    Hi Pipa
you are like me i love DIY my friend did a extention we smashed bricks for hardcore pulled walls down, but when it was finished the outside bricks did’nt match she got a brick doctor out and was going to charge £500 pound’to dye them. We went on line and bought the stuff needed then sat up on scaffolding and dyed each brick when fin it looked fantasic, people walking past thought we lost the plot. As for gadgets laura has every kitchen one going she just laugh’s and says another QVC, dont know what i did before i found you’s as Davy says we had more money but we all need a little pleasure.
how is the dogs doing hope she has settled.
    love best wishes. dorothy xxx

    Hi Pipa
The Glasses look like a great Idea, Iam going to search for them and get one for my husband, he is a DIY mad. He is got a hat that have a led light on which he uses all the time, so he would love the glasses.
We can”t live without QVC, as we moved to Mallorca 9 years ago and we get most of our shopping from QVC, it is much easier than trying to work things out here, and you can”t always get what you want. And we still get our staff in 5 to 7 working days which is great.
And all of you at QVC make shopping so much fun.
And writing to you helps a lot, and stop me from being home sick. keep up the good work.
