If you've been watching the news recently you will have spotted the uber-cool and relaxed style of Michelle Obama. Michelle is really rocking the cardi on her visit to the UK. She teams them with A-line skirts and camisole tops or 'column of colour' dresses topped off with the all-important pearl necklace.
To recreate her style check out our cardigan department, in particular look at Cashmasoft's three-piece top and cardi set, or Charlotte Tarantola's kitten-print cardi or the Dolce Carbo beaded cardigan.
Michelle Obama knows how to flatter her figure, and she often opts for a slimming A-line skirt. Take a look at Susan Graver's Lustra-Knit skirt or George Simonton's take on the A-line - the Fit & Flare skirt.
To complete the look it has to be set a Honora pearls. Pearls are chic and elegant as well as being relaxed and comfortable. If they're good enough for the Palace and No.10, pearls will take you anywhere.

I think M.O has single handedly brought the cardi right up to date, but I dont agree Glen that your choice of the Cashmasoft is the choice to replicate her style. Its far too mumsy !!!! Not the M.O style at all!, BUT yes the C Tarantola's it much more the "look". I would actually purchase that, but the description on the site, gives a bust measurement between small and 3xl as only a 2" difference, something wrong there !

Love Mrs Obama's style - she always looks great - and even in jeans and a t shirt I imagine she would look good.
Watching her on tv yesterday with school children - her affection for them and their response to her - reminded me of another stylish lady - Diana.
I think the world has found someone to carry on where Diana left off.
