Guess the year...

Think you're a bit of a fashion expert? Well, take our 'Guess the year' quiz and see how much you really know!

I've found some short clips of the presenters from the QVC archive, and all you have to do is guess the year for each clip from their clothes and make-up! But be warned, they're very short clips so this is going to be a hard one...

Style spy: Alison Keenan

Hi all,

I bumped into Alison K catching up on some work and running a few errands around QVC Towers. As she was looking rather chic, I snapped a few sneaky pics to show you how you can recreate Alison's laid-back look.

Alison is wearing a chic, longer-length black jumper paired with  faded black jeans. But what makes the outfit special are her accessories - Ali has paired the jeans with high-heeled, black knee-length boots which not only add height and give the illusion of longer legs, but also give the outfit a sassy twist.

To give the jumper some shape, Alison has popped a wide belt on - a good trick for accentuating your waist.

Finally Alison has finished the look with a string of Honora pearls and a Diamonique bracelet.

Alison has kept her make-up simple

A slick of mascara and a dusting of blush give her a fresh-faced glow. Alison recommends using Tova mascara as it doesn't flake and Smashbox blush as the colours are nice and natural.

To recreate Alison's look... go for a longer-length top like this one (right) from Beth Terrell. Pair it with your favourite jeans and knee-high boots. Have a look at Rockport's Archmount boots, as they will give you height as well as being comfy to wear.

Accessorise with a pearl necklace, but go for a steel grey, blue or other dark pearl for a modern twist on classic pearls - have a look at the Honora range. Alison is also wearing an expandable Diamonique bracelet  - perfect for adding a touch of glamour to your outfit,

My busy week...

Hi everyone,

On the back of a very successful Spring Fashion Day here at QVC, I was in London all last week for wall-to-wall fashion shows at London Fashion Week. London Fashion Week is celebrating it's 25th year, and I’m am pleased to say it’s still going strong.

I was home in time for the weekend and managed to squeeze in a lovely spring walk with my youngest daughter Holly and best friend Steve. Later that evening it was down to my local for a couple of pints of Yorkshire ale with my lovely wife Sue - although she’s more of a spritzer girl.

Milan Fashion Week has been going strong, and I've been tracking it on the internet all week -  square eyes for me I think!
