Camper van

GLAMPING around!

Well then it’s been a horribly wet June but hopefully that’s about to change! Its not stopped me getting out and about and enjoying what we Brits call the summer. Something I’ve always wanted to do for many years is travel our own beautiful shores here in the UK to see what Britain has to offer. I’m guilty of usually going abroad in search of rich culture, fine food and diverse landscapes but I’m so delighted I’ve started to explore more of our homeland in a campervan (more of a glampervan!)

With Teddy

I’ve been exploring the south of the country, so Hampshire and The New Forest and last week in Devon and travelling the north shore round the likes of Woolocombe and the coast just south of there. I was shocked that the scenery was spectacular and even the beaches are fabulous too. It was mid week so not too busy or over populated and very friendly too.

Teddy (the pooch) has adjusted to life in the campervan, he makes his own little nest on the bed at night and he’s happy to trot around and play nearby in the day, we’ve had a wonderful time. Just last week we did the most amazing 10 mile walk along an undulating coastal path and it was glorious sunshine, needless to say we slept like babies that night.

I have really loved the freedom of staying in the campervan, it’s like camping but obviously much more comfortable and with all the mod cons and home comforts such as a cooker, fridge/freezer and an oven! I’ve even managed to cook some delicious meals from The Body Rescue by Christianne Wolff.

It’s times like these when space is of the essence that we love our ‘try me’ products or discovery collections. One of my favourites at the moment is the Philip Kingsley set  217133 at £21 it’s all your essentials shampoo, conditioner, Maximiser, Elasticizer etc. Also there’s a seven-piece Ultrasun collection at just £24 which is invaluable for having handy on day trips etc and to throw in day bags. Check out more discovery collections for your travels …

Where have you been that you’d recommend I visit?

    Hi Janet!
    I really fancy Salcombe?!

Yeah Cornwall is amazing too, hoping to see more of it this year.

Sadly in England it is weather dependant for most activities. Fingers crossed for you xx
