It's launching tomorrow (Thursday 27th October) as a Today's Special Value, and we were lucky enough to catch up with the guest experts, stylists Jamie and Sally Brooks to find out more…
It is unique in the way it can be used for so many different styles. We are always looking for easy-to-use tools that just work in a simple, uncomplicated way – the fantastic thing with this tool is that it does so many different looks that you just need the one tool!
What looks can you create with it?
With the Glamoriser, the options are limitless with the styles it can create from beachy waves to glamorous waves, from root lift and volume to slick and sophisticated. Or you can mix it up and create multi textures perfect for parties and events.
The best thing is that whatever your hair length you'll be able to create fab looks with the Glamoriser. Here are some examples…
Can you give us your top tips on how to use the Glamoriser?
This really is a simple tool to use and comes with a great step-by-step leaflet with our top five looks. Once you have determined your hair type, be it thick and course or fine and fragile, determine your heat temperature by using the manual temperature setting.
I suggest the top heat of 230 degrees is perfect for courser hair and a medium heat of 160 – 180 degrees for more fragile hair – then simply get to work. Whether it's big bouncy curls or sleek and smooth locks, you'll love the results.
What are the hair trends for the party season?
This season is all about attainable glamour. Volume will always be a key trend and this season's fashion is all about width instead of height so big sexy waves and big smooth flicks will keep your style subtle and glamorous.
How did you get into the hair business?
Jamie: We both just kind of fell into it but since starting hairdressing we have never looked back.
Sally: I trained as a make-up artist but once I cut someone's hair I realised how important this was to someone and how much you can build confidence. Hair really is the first thing you notice and the thing that makes us feel good about ourselves.
Are you looking forward to working on live TV?
Sally: Yes, nervous but really looking forward to it! I hope I don’t sneeze or pass out! What I love about live TV is you never now what is going to happen; at least the audience will get to see us real. I think my mum is more nervous about modelling for me!
Tune in tomorrow to see the Glamoriser Today's Special Value
