While I was thinking about my various categories of Christmas gifts I wondered how many of you lovely QVC-ites had actually bought food from us?
Well, if you haven’t you are definitely missing a trick! In celebration of all the gorgeous goodies on offer, I have an amazing competition for you to enter – but more on that later!
Firstly, I wanted to let you know how QVC can really take the stress out of your Christmas. We really can deliver Christmas to your door in one fell swoop, so if you are the person left to organise everybody else’s Christmas let QVC take the strain and all you need to worry about is a few veggies for the big day.
So, to begin with take a look at Green Seasons. I love it when Pat and Chef Michael visit QVC, you’ve never seen so many people flock to the studio afterwards to feast on the food that’s been cooked for the shows.
The meat from Green Seasons is the best I’ve ever tasted, whether it’s beef, lamb, turkey or gammon it simply melts in your mouth and is so different from the joints you typically buy in the supermarket, and I have to mention their sausages which are to die for!
Have a look at their festive hampers on our website – the bumper one is the British meat festive hamper selection, which contains turkey, gammon, topside of beef and all the trimmings – a true Christmas banquet!
Of course. if you are anything like my family at Christmas you probably never stop nibbling, so have a look at some of the Christmas treats too. We have amazing pies from The Real Pie Company, melt-in-your-mouth biscuits from Churchill’s and all kinds of sweet treats including Monty Bojangles and Whittard of Chelsea, who have some beautiful chocolate lovers gift sets.
I think foody treats make a great gift too, as I think we all like a little indulgence at Christmas – and they can be the perfect solution for those hard-to-buy-for relatives on your list, or even a great little thank you for teachers and friends.
So without further ado, here are my top three foody gifts for Christmas 2016
You get three Christmas stocking collectible tins, each filled with their delicious shortbread. Brilliant for splitting up as three separate gifts which works out fantastic for your festive budget.
Number two: Gower Cottage double pack of hand-made brownies.
It’s become a tradition in our house to have these warm on Christmas morning. Tasting is believing they are just the best brownies you will ever taste in the whole entire world, and worth every penny!
Number one: I had to choose Joe & Seph’s giant popcorn cracker gift pack!
I love Joe and Seph’s gourmet popcorn and this is the perfect gift at a great price for anyone of any age, and it’s so beautifully packaged. It even includes a joke and a hat – perfect for your Christmas feast!
Now for the competition…
If the above picks have wet your appetite, have a go at my free-to-enter competition. To win a whole host of gourmet nibbles (including all the treats you see in the picture, plus lots more), we’ve got enough to see you through to next year! The approximate combined value of the selection is £100, making it a fantastic treat for anyone looking to stock up for the season.
Just answer this question…
What do we call the bacon wrapped sausages that are served as a traditional Christmas dinner accompaniment?
- Pigs in a pen
- Pigs in blankets
- Boars in a Slanket
