Get the flags out!

With Her Majesty’s birthday coming up and St George’s Day in the offing – all in the space of the next seven days – we’re feeling particularly patriotic.

And since there’s nothing wrong with blowing one’s own trumpet once in a while, we’re making the most of the feeling with our special Celebrate Britain event – shining a light on some of the brilliant British brands we’re lucky to share with you this Tuesday 21st April.

Kicking off this special 24-hour event just after midnight will be our Today’s Special Value offer from top jewellery brand Butler & Wilson, famed for their high-sparkle designs.

This double-chain necklace with a floral pendant realised in crystals fixed at the bottom is an easy way to jazz up an everyday look, whether you opt to go bold with the Brights option we’ve picked out in our photos here, or select from one of three other, more understated colour options. It’s the perfect piece to have on hand for those last-minute office drinks, turning your look from ‘conference room’ to ‘cocktails o’clock’ in seconds.

We spoke to one of the brains behind the designs, Simon Wilson, ahead of the event to find out more about the origins of the brand and what makes it so special.

Elsewhere on the day we’ll be joined by Welsh jewellery brand Clogau, who infuse every design with a touch of rare Welsh gold and its distinctive rose hue, as well as loads more from the worlds of fashion, beauty and homeware.

We’ve got Peony coming along to help you decorate your home with their luxurious faux flower arrangements, and The Real Pie Company to fill your kitchen with delicious treats; a masterclass in the art of handbag design from Lulu Guinness; renowned hair expert Philip Kingsley‘s haircare range to help you tame your mane; and exquisite fragrances from Penhaligon’s – plus plenty more.

Tune in on Tuesday to discover more home-grown heroes as we Celebrate Britain at QVC.
