Get set for spring with Jemma Kidd’s make-up tips

Jemma Kidd

Hi everyone, it’s Jemma Kidd here,

Sometimes it feels as if winter will never end and skin will stay pale (and frankly a bit dull!) forever. Luminous is the buzzword of the season, so take time to prepare your face properly.

To add a healthy, spring-like glow to your complexion, apply a radiance crème like my award-winning Dewy Glow All Over Radiance Crème under your foundation.

Jemma Kidd Lip & Cheek Tint The arrival of spring heralds the use of lighter, brighter colours for garden-fresh looks to go with the season. Models on the catwalks at lots of the spring 2011 shows sported striking shades of eyeshadow, from leaf green and crocus lilac, to daffodil yellow.

Don’t be scared to experiment with bold colour combinations, but keep lips soft and pared-back with a neutral gloss or rosy stain, like my Rosy Glow Lip & Cheek Tint.

Jemma Kidd Crushed Jewel Crème Shadows with Mascara The influence of the seventies was hard to ignore on the runways this season, from ‘hippie chic’ sun-kissed skin, to decadent ‘disco diva’ glittery eyes. Adding a touch of grown-up glitter is a great way to dress up natural make-up for spring evenings. Apply the loose shimmer dust from my Crushed Jewel Crème Duos for some sophisticated, Studio 54-inspired sparkle!
