Get set for Christmas beauty gifting

2

I know that the Christmas shows always seem to take us by surprise, and I do try to not mention the word Christmas too early on (apart from Christmas in July of course, which is just a wonderful exception!), but it’s mid-October now and I firmly believe that the sooner we start planning, the easier and more enjoyable Christmas becomes.

I never forget one awful Christmas Eve in my early twenties when I was running around Oxford Street in  London, desperately buying anything as the shops were closing up. I spent a fortune on rubbish that no one actually wanted, and I vowed never to leave it that late again! After all, there’s no excuse really – we have a whole year to prepare, and with a little bit of planning you can buy some amazing gifts for friends and family without breaking the bank.

So I thought that over the next few blogs, I’d let you know about some of the gorgeous gifts I’ve come across that you might want to think about for family and friends – or even pop on your own Christmas wish list!

I have to of course start with beauty, as it’s my passion and if it was up to me I’d have one of everything we sell! I’ve picked my top three beauty gifts based on what I believe would make a really thoughtful and well-presented gift.

In third place, it’s the OPI 5 Piece 5 Steps to Great Nails Gift Box.

OPI nail kit

This features five must-have nail essentials for getting your nails in good condition, and if you want to lengthen those nails, it’s a must with both the iconic Nail Envy and cuticle oil included. It come in a lovely white box, perfect for gifting and if you wanted to you could expand the gift by adding some colours you’ve picked for the recipient.

Secondly is the Sleep Together kit by This Works.

This Works kit

This is a two-piece set containing their Deep Sleep Breathe In and Deep Sleep Pillow Spray. I love the This Works range, and yes, the products really do help towards getting a good nights sleep! This set would be perfect to ease the stresses and strains of everyday day life or for anyone who struggles with sleep – plus it’s a really unique beauty gift.

My top spot goes to the Elemis Pro-Collagen Blockbuster Collection.

Elemis skincare kit

This is certainly bigger than a typical stocking filler, but with a supersize of the multi-award-winning Pro-Collagen Marine Cream included, the value of this collection is incredible. You have all six anti-ageing skincare heroes in here to really help fight your battle against fine lines and wrinkles. This really is serious skincare at its best, but hurry because with the great price currently on offer, I honestly don’t think this will be around for long. Plus, it comes in a stunning mermaid shimmer vanity case, and is available on three easy payments!

I’ll keep my eyes out for more pressie ideas for the next blog, perhaps with the gentlemen in mind this time. Meanwhile, if you are stuck for any ideas let me know what you are looking for and I’ll try and help.

Happy shopping!
