Get ready for October’s Beauty Pick

Lulu’s Time Bomb skincare range was originally developed to help combat the look of ageing and share the beauty secrets of the scientifically award-winning cosmetic team that originally created some of the famous John Frieda Haircare products.

This team look at the forefront of beauty cosmetology to recreate, in a topical application, what the skin is no longer doing for itself.

Collagen loss is the bain of all skin ageing and this is caused by depletion in the reproductive cells, which continually break down – but also this can be made worse by sun damage, illness, stress and environmental factors.

How do you know you have collagen damage?

1. The appearance of wrinkles

2. Skin has a slackness or looseness to it. Often first noticed on the lid or around the jawline

3. Skin doesn’t look as resilient or bouncy because it is actually thinner

This Time Bomb Collagen Bomb is a clever, modern answer to collagen depletion and even has a unique, bouncy texture, with famous skincare ingredients including pycnogenol, padina povanica and micro collagen, which delivers an immediate suppleness, plumpness and redensifying effect to wrinkles and crepey areas.208216.v.001

Where can you use it?

For younger skin, or skin still with associated breakouts, you could just apply it on the eye area to combat the look of ageing. For those with no fringes and high forehead or very expressive faces, it may be just on the forehead, and for older skin – often 30’s, 40’s plus – you will want to apply it all over your face, neck and eyes, underneath your normal moisturisers.

Incidentally, if you use it pre-makeup underneath the primer, it does give an instant plumping effect so your makeup will look less ageing and prevent makeup falling into creases.

Men will love it from the beard line and above as it gives this non-greasy, non-shiney but plumped and firmed appearance and can be used right up to the lashes as an eye treatment as well.

For special occasions, try applying a few extra pumps and leave it on for a pre-makeup treatment. Leave it on for any stubborn areas for an improved result.

Younger skin may just want it once a day but an older skin that is well into collagen depletion and showing all the signs would be best to use it twice a day as part of their facial regime for maximum results.

As this clever technology gives a smoother finish to the surface of the skin, you may find that your skin looks fresher because of natural light reflection which gives a better overall colour and tone to the skin.

Hi Ali, I see that lulu’s beauty pick of the month can be used on the eyes. I have suffered with seborrheic dermatitis on my eyelids for nearly 5 years which at certain times become very sore and itchy can the above be used on the mobile lid or can you please recommend something that I can use to give my eyes moisture.

Best to read the feedbacks on this one: time after time its a report of ‘great product, useless pump which ceases to work’

Unfortunately it doesn’t matter how good the product is as the pump and method of dispensing is rubbish. It is impossible to get the product out of the container. Even if you you bang it vigorously it makes no different. Very disappointed to see that this product is still being sold like this and even more so now that it is beauty product of the month.
