Gem Day is upon us!

Gem Day Gem day is up on us again and it's always a privilege to be asked to part of the Gem Day presenter team.

I always feel like a kid in a candy shop on Gem Day as I'm surrounded by these gorgeous gems of delicious colour and sumptuous precious metals with designs fit for a princess.

Our gem team travel the world and source the very best gemstones to bring you 24hrs live of gems from all around the globe.

I had a sneaky preview of my shows last week and have chosen a few pieces that I fell in love with…
Australian opal and diamond earrings

Australian opal and diamond earrings Opal and diamonds are a truly beautiful combination. These I couldn't resist as they are so elegant and show the Australian opal to its finest with its entrancing colours.

Thease earrings are also a great introduction to opal and being a drop rather than a stud, they are the perfect step up to a fine pair of earrings. They look so elegant and all I was waiting for was my prince to arrive and whisk me away… oh then reality kicked in when security asked for them back to go in the QVC volt!!! But I get another chance on Sunday's Gem Day at 10am – see you there!!

Set of five pearl bracelets

Set of five pearl bracelets Pearl as you know I adore. My engagement ring is mother of pearl… I just don't feel dressed without it. I love the history of pearls and how they make you feel when you are wearing them.

These pearl bracelets are at an incredible Super Bargain Price… so don't miss them. See you at 9am for these… (matchsticks for my eyes please at this early hour!!!!) Gems will dazzle me awake!!
Morganite and sapphire earrings

Morganite and sapphire earrings How could I resist… my favourite gemstone… morganite! These earrings are so unusual in their setting of rose gold and the delicacy of pink sapphire. I had to take a breath when I saw these. I loved them… 9am be there!!

Russian jade ring

Russian jade ring As you know I love big rings… I had to choose this one not due to its size but the carving on the Russian jade is a real art and the artisan pieces are finished to perfection.

I love the myths associated with jade… so who knows it could be your lucky day…stay with me at 12pm for this one.
I can't wait to see you on Sunday Morning… shake me, wake me and join me for a fabulous day of gems galore!

hello jill.hope you are keeping good, you were the star attraction on the tele in our local pub last night,, my self and my husband went in for a bite to eat and there were about 6 or 7 guys looking up at the tele, holding their pints looking at your show, i think it was for nail polish,it took me a while to figure out why they were so interested in nail polish, i said to Dave that is was strange that guys were so interested in this,, the penny dropped when he replied that its not the nail polish stupid , “its the drop dead gorgeaus presenter” they are looking at, men what are they like?

I really love the round sparkly earrings you wear sometimes. The last time was on the Nina Leonard show last Thursday, they look a bit Butler & Wilson, but not sure what make they are. Can you tell me who makes them and if they are avaialbel to buy?
    Many thanks.
