We had a great response - with loads of colourful and creative entrants. But, we had to choose one to be our winner.
Our choice was Margret Lloyd's beautiful garden!
Margret's inspiration came when she met a lady who loved her garden whenever she passed it on the local bus to town. The lady had a son, who suffers from cancer, and asked if Margret had ever considered opening the garden for the MacMillan Nurses, as they do such a brilliant job.
Margret had thought about doing something for charity for some time and so rang MacMillan that day. A few days later, her lovely garden was open to the public and it has been open for the past seven years since.
The garden now helps other charities too; for instance, last year Margret raised money for Help for Heroes.
Even being open to the public, with lots of people walking on the grass, Margret says through using Lawn Magic, the lawn still looks wonderful.
Margret is glad she has opened her garden to the public: "Each year I try to make it better than the year before. All the lovely comments from people inspires me to try harder each year for such a worthy cause."
The garden is bursting with colour, partly due to Margret's green fingers, but Margret also thinks Flower Power helps to make her flowers look spectacular. Margret says the flowers take up so much space, there's simply not enough room for weeds!
Plus, Margret has created a hub for wildlife, adding: "It is lovely to think that I have encouraged butterflies, bees, dragonflies, newts and frogs."
Margret's garden will feature in our October Garden Inspirations show and Margret will also receive £250 QVC credit!
