Hope you are all enjoying the bright days we've been having lately. It's still cold but a brighter sky makes all thr difference.
We had a full-on half term as always and I thought you might maybe like to know about my latest idea for keeping the kids occupied. Snow!
We travelled to the Snowzone in Milton Keynes, which is just over an hour away from me but was well worth it. There are lots of activities that you can book and we chose tobogganing, which was great fun, although it's quite hard work walking back up the slope in between runs. I must admit that my sister and I were pretty pooped by the end of the session, and were ready for the toasted paninis and hot chocolate!
The kids really enjoyed it. Luckily, I'd packed a complete change of clothes as we were wet through, even our pants! We got some great photos as there is a professional photographer on the slope and I tell you what, it must be a great thigh workout because I could hardly move my legs the next day!
Let me know if you found anywhere worth taking the kids to this half term. Remember we've got the Easter hols coming up so the more ideas the merrier!
