Friends, bikes and a mini SBC offer!

Hi there! Hope you are well.

Wow, what a great (and very busy) couple of weeks it’s been!

Last week I had dinner with two university friends, Marcia and Ruth. We were rather gobsmacked when we realised we all met 23 years ago! Where does the time go eh?!

Then on the weekend I had a get together with friends and family to watch the first episode of the CBeebies show I am co-hosting go out. It was great fun and after seeing the show we went to the park where we sunbathed, played games and my niece Ruby fell in love with every dog she saw!

Then in the week I had, like many Londoners, several challenges getting around due to the tube strike. I often use the bikes you can hire to get round the city, but that day it was like the whole world had taken to two wheels. You can see in the photo – a sea of bikes in Soho Square! The bike company put in a system where you could dock the bike and then they would remove it to make space for another bike to take its place. It was like a sea of bikes!!

Did you see Davina McCall  with her new fitness DVDs when she was at QVC? I wasn’t there that day but as I am such a big fan of hers! The lovely Debbie Flint took a hello photo message with her and sent the snap to me – it made my day!

Finally, keep an eye open for the mini SBC Today’s Special Value coming soon. The minis are quite rare and it’s a full collection of them. I am taking mine on holiday to France this week so it’s perfect timing. I am sure you will agree that they are just the right size to either try SBC for the first time, or pop in your gym, travel or overnight bag if you’re already a big fan.

And whilst we are talking about this fabulous skincare brand, this week’s #Top3Beauty is all SBC:

1. Collagen Gel – I love using this under moisturiser on both my face and body, and apply it thickly as a hydrating mask. This time of year, keep it in the fridge – so wonderfully refreshing!

2. Arnica Gel – I find this so comforting. When I had a bad back last year it brought so much relief and now with life being so busy at the moment, I find applying a thick layer of it on my neck and shoulders is very soothing.

3. Camphor & Menthol Massage Gel – this is bliss on the neck and shoulders for tension relief. I also add it to foot creams to ease tired feet. It’s also wonderful to rub between your hands and simply inhale the vapours to clear your head – perfect for hayfever season!

So what is your favourite SBC product? Please post a comment below.

Much love and see you soon!

Hi there Craig… luv reading you’re blogs… well my favourite SBC products were the Superfruits range which i thought was very popular but apparently i can’t get anymore from qvc :-( Its gorgeous & so unisex too…both me & my mum were regular buyers of this. I do want to try the camphor & warming Arnica in the winter for pains i have with ME/CFS. PS the collagen hand products we like too!

    Hi Craig!

I think my solution for dealing with the Tube Strike would appeal to you…..I flew off to Marbella for a long weekend! It wasn’t intentional, but a happy coincidence! The SBC minis would have been ideal for my break, but with a trip to Greece in the not so distant future I will be sure to keep an eye out for them!

Little Ruby looks bigger since her last picture on your blog, what a little cutie!

Have a great time on your holidays!

Hi Craig, love reading your blogs. I love all the SBC gels, but at the moment it’s Jasmine/Primrose and Aloe vera. Having my own “tropical moments”, so these are mind and body savers! When is the SBC mini special value? Enjoy you hols xx :-)

Hi Craig, was super surprised to see you on CBEEBIES this morning. My daughter was thoroughly transfixed. Well done, anyone who can keep Lucy quiet for more than 30 seconds is a miracle worker!

Hi Craig, hope you’re enjoying your holiday with your mum.
We always have SBC gels at home and especially like the Arnica and Lavender. QVC don’t seem to sell the Lavender gel on it’s own anymore and wonder why, and if they would consider it again in the future. Love Kath xx

Very exciting as it’s the first SBC TSV with the new mini 100ml bottles! I’ve just come back from a holiday in France and they were absolutely perfect for it!

    Hope that helps.

    Hi Kath!

I’m back now and had an absolutely lovely time away with my mum. Beautiful weather and very chilled. Thanks for asking.

Glad to hear you also love the SBC Gels. That’s the shame about the lavender. I will pass what you said across to our Buyers Team as they are always keen to hear customers views. So fingers crossed it’ll return one day soon!

Hope you’re well and have a great week.

    Craig x
